  • A butterflying trip to central Wisconsin's Sandhill Wildlife Area, a 14-square mile natural space where one can see many butterfly species, particularly sedge species like the Dion Skipper, Mulberry Wing, Two-spotted Skipper, and the Acadian Hairstreak. Also the Karner Melissa Blue, an endangered species. Wetlands, forest, prairie, old field and other habitats are examined on a one-day trip on July 14, 2023.
