I love the concept that all splatoon Horror media is in-universe stuff the Inklings made after discovering the genre through human remains, but they don't understand it's supposed to be scary so they just find it all really funny.

Honestly, the last one had potential. I mean Callie did get shot by her own cousin, yes she was brainwashed, but in my eyes that is most likely one of the only things, if not the only thing she could recall from being brainwashed by DJ Octavio. Idk, a story like that could have gone into Callie’s psyche and made her question what Marie means to her or something. Like you said, all these stories need is just some tweaking and they could be interesting or very good!

Here's a scary story. I was browsing through the Xbox online store and noticed that they were still selling Anthem for 60 dollars. Also I found the the first two Dark Alliance games for 30 dollars each.
Honestly, I have a good idea for a creepy pasta story. The great scientist that was making commander Tartar he put in a water log chip, which made waterproof back to the present day. A random person boots up a normal game of Splatoon two after he defeated OCTO expansion he went into the deep sea Metro once more, and instead of seeing the normal deep sea Metro, there was glass shards of a blender everywhere the metro was empty sanitized ink. was stuck in the train tracks he didn’t think much of it, but after that, he heard a voice behind him a familiar voice it was a mangled commander tartar the screen turned black. He awoke inside of a chamber with hundreds and hundreds of sanitized octo troopers luckily he was holding a splat bomb bag but there was only three bombs in there so he took the risk and he threw all three of them. Luckily, it did splat almost all of them but the best chased him to an empty vent. He escaped through the vent, but some of them followed him, but it wasn’t that much of a problem because he lost them in the vent system. After that, he found himself in the control room of the train. He tried to get out through the doors, but was not successful. He broke the roof of the train and climbed out. He jumped off the track only sustaining a couple of injuries after that, he crawled his way to the exit, but there was something wrong. It looked like the entire exit was blocked off by cement. After that he knew he was in a trap. He suddenly tried to hide somewhere, but they found him. He woke up in a giant blender with commander tartar and some sanitized troopers. He tried to break out, but was unsuccessful right as the blender was about to kill him agent 4 head kicked commander tartar and knocked him to the ground. She instantly broke the blender and escaped with him after they retreated to a safe area agent 4 explained how he survived the sinking of the giant head AI. He sank to the bottom of the ocean, almost about to malfunction. He was saved by a couple of salmons they took him to land after that he explained how to give them technology. They would never even dream of the salmon took him to the deep sea Metro to try and start the process over again but inevitable failed again after agent 4 explained how he returned she sprinted off, weaving behind a note. It was a map of the metro. It looked almost exactly like the map when he played with agent eight but it was a little bit different. There was another section section so far off the map, it was not even registered as a real place but despite the map saying that it was impossible to get there, he tried anyways after two days. He finally found it. He went to the first level, but something was different. It wasn’t like any of the levels from OCTO expansion. It was different. There were no enemies. It was just an empty rotting house under ground. He walked around and found a key. He was wondering what the key went to but eventually he found a door and after he opened that door, he regretted everything mangled roting human remains that worked over 10,000 years old. He instantly closed the door, but at the corner of his eye he saw something the screen instantly turned to black and he awoke in a giant room and he saw what the thing was it was a giant salmon with insanely advanced tech he was at least 10 feet tall there was squid parts everywhere he couldn’t believe what he was saying. He tried to escape, but nothing worked eventually agent 4 killed the salmon again and untied the ropes bounding him to his chair. Then she left. He went back to the deep sea Metro, but what was waiting for him was not what he seemed instead of the metro. He was back on the giant human head. No one was around. It was ocean for miles, but then he heard the battle music and then there was a timer one minute counting down the entire head started to turn into a living death trap, and after the one minute was over, the screen turned black, after he was knocked out by an unknown person and then the game crashed the cartridge wouldn’t work after So how do you like my creepy pasta rated it from one to 10😊
I thought for a second that Splatoon red was a continuation of the Bloodlings since both of them played off the almost identical concept of a haunted game with modified packaging and inklings with blood for ink.
An idea I have for a splatoon creepy story could be some kind of experiment to create universal ink, but it just ends up making inkling/octoling amalgamation hybrid beings straight out of The Thing. It could also have the side effect of depriving the user of their own natural ink supply and making them crave that of others, which would cause some to be reclusive and some to be aggressive. The amalgamation thing could be hidden by the company that makes it to sell more of it. A workplace inspector goes to the place where all of it is happening and discovers the truth. If you have ideas for this, let me know.

But it's no surprise to anyone that most of them are bad, but I think one good idea would be to go off of the sanitization part of then story and do something with that. There is some remade versions of some things (in the Truth About that “Things” because people make them all time for something else I don’t know but it’s something they want)
I think a lot of video game creepypasta tropes come from what was scary about old video games. Playground rumours and bootlegs and strange glitches would make people wonder "if this can happen in my game, what else could?" But I just dont think that works for splatoon. Its from 2015, theres no mystery when you find a glitch and the presentation is clean and hd. It made me wonder, what would work for a splatoon creepypasta then, whats strange and volatile about wiiu games? I think if I made a creepypasta I'd do something with Miiverse/plaza posts. Strangers who act too familiar, bizarre art caught in the corner of your eye during a match, posts that speak too personal instead of the shitposts you expect to see. A dawning realization that its not coincidence and someone or something might be actively antagonizing you. Doesnt need to end with an Inkling bleeding from the eyes or anything.
Here’s my take on a splatoon creepy pasta there was a Nintendo fan that got splatoon 3 the game seemed normal at first until an error happened it read turn back return it but they didn’t go back so the reloaded the game seemed normal still until they went in the story mode cuttlefish was nowhere to been seen but that didn’t stop them they completely finished all the enemies but they never showed out if they returned to the level when they fought the boss they got jumpscared and the text below said you play my way now… then an octoling that looked like there character but it was weird it had a weird birth defect it shot previous victims blood but when the player got splatted they got sent to a dark room with no weapon there’s just previous versions of the player then the unknown octoling said this is a beginning and the end… now it went back to when the player fought the boss but now the switch can’t die it can’t turn off the player has to go through this he’ll forever
You know what I would have done, Show R 34 version of them, ok listen if you do it they would either get disgusted and leave or paralyzed by the shock that you get the time to run.
The crazy thing about Splatoon is that there could be potential for a creepypasta story due to the lore - it’s depressing as fuck. But on the surface, it’s just a happy squid game sooooooo

An idea I Had for A creepyPasta Story set in the world of Splatoon,
Was Inspired by a Song called "Thing" by "The Steampianist"
Where Calli's Hypno-Shades Somehow Gained Consciousness, through Microorganisms that Evolved in Toxic Black Oil.
And They Need a Host to Exist properly,
And Finds The Remains of a Secret Agent 0 That Captain Cuddlefish Kept Secret,
An Agent that Came Before Marie and Callie.
The Shades Cross's out the 0 emblem that was Burned into Agent 0's Back,
(To reference "THE ARK" symbol, Famous among Different Creepypastas)
when he was Captured by the evil Octoling army,
Making The Hypno shades Give the Same Symbol on itself,
Where the Eyes would Be.
The HypnoShades Splices The Agent's DNA to Give him Powers that are Reminiscent of 4 Games
1.Carrion
2.Prototype(1 and2)
3.Bioshock(Trilogy)
4.Infamous(1 and 2)
And The Agent Salvages the Weapons of Splatoon, to Create New ones,
Like the infamous Undercover brella, fuses that with a Splatana,
being able to Swipe when the Brella is Closed And More Shield'n'Shotgun when it's open.
And the brush for Faster Speed, and more powerful wide Spread. For Better Close range,
And Gadgets like a Rocket pack that Fires Multiple Mini S.M.A.R.T rockets.
The Reason Why Captain Cuddlefish Kept Agent 0 a Secret,
Because he's The Equivalent of Hank From Madness Combat,
Agent 0 went on a Suicide Mission, against The Capital of The Octolings,
Where He Needed to Keep himself alive for Long enough,
so That that The Squid Kids Could Send a Massive Ink NUKE, that Tracked Agent 0's Brainwaves.
This would Be Victory over "The Great Turf War"
Coming back Years Later, Like a DOOM Marine ghost.

I think if we wanted to do a splatoon creepypasta, I think it could be similar to robloxs myths. A mysterious user of the game (most likely a hacker from splatoon 1). I don't know. I just think it would be a unique concept.
