Have to agree on all points so far. The only times I have been tilted have been in matches where the phantom hitmarkers and shooting around walls were particularly bad, but overall I'm having a blast. My friends have come to the conclusion that dom feels so terrible in this game especially due to the maps being pretty heavily skewed towards one side.
Thanks for uploading the commentary I was hoping for. I agree on the Phantom 120 health thing being bullshit. You ran out of time but Im sure you probably had some thoughts about the Intel Suit(UAV wall hack) being a pain too. Its just cancer running into 6 stack pub stomp parties farming K/D by running multiple intel suits. It makes Domination a nightmare. I personally like the fact casual has no SBMM because the lobbies feel genuinely random so of I'm getting stomped by a good player then Im excited when I kill them and if I lose because my teammates suck I know they genuinely do suck and not just me getting an uneven match based on some broken / hidden MMR system. I am however excited for ranked. The game has good ranked potential I just hope I can choose the game mode. Escort and Zone Capture feel the most competitive to me which is why I like them the most even in casual. Being forced to play Occupy or Domination would be frustrating.
In the few games of occupy and dom I have played, that's where intel suit shines more. Better in chaotic environments with forced cqc. Where as Zone control and Escort the lanes are so narrow and linear a lot of the gun fights are straight up and ranged. Much harder to flank as well. I can imagine how hard it is to cap B with map hacks dinging you constantly. They really need to implement lobby balancing after each map and not kick everyone out. Should lessen the stomps as well unless it's just a 3+ stack running it. I think ranked should be a mosh pit of every mode except hotshot, very curious to see how they do it. And if 4 stacks can match 4 solos, it might be DOA
lmao it's really only good against noobs. over time i think we will see deadsec players use hack over the spider and people will learn to crouch and shoot ground quickly. team mates shooting it off of you though? gl I love using it when im isolated and know a player is nearby and need a clutch kill to open a flank etc
