Could be worse. I'm in England, it's like 5 degrees Celsius, so under 40 Fahrenheit I think. And we've had snow a few days ago as well. NE sounds so much warmer now
I think it's 4th because the last time he said it Michael wasn't on the podcast & the last two times before that he said it with Michael on the podcast.
They have the need to drill information into our heads for some reason. Speaking of which, did you know you can become a FIRST member? Its okay if you didn't, because they'll remind you every week for the next 500 episodes.
The Rusty Omniblade I mean it's promotion, who wouldn't promote their own stuff? The FIRST pass actually has some pretty good content on the website as well.
LOLOL you think this is bad? wait until like a week or 2 from now for EVERY RT, AH, LP, FH, KF, GA video to be intro'ed by the Christmas sale event on the Rooster Teeth website.
He's balding so give him a few more years. Also HATE when he has that little amount of hair pulled down over hte forehead. Looks like he's trying to cover it up which makes it worse.
Okay, since they butchered the Infinity Stones segment, I'll just clear it up so it hopefully makes more sense: Space (Blue) - "The Tesseract", last seen being taken to Asgard by Thor at the end of The Avengers. Mind (Yellow) - Loki's Staff/Vision's forehead, last seen still in Vision's forehead in Captain America: Civil War. Reality (Red) - "The Aether", last seen in the possession of the Collector in Thor: The Dark World. Power (Purple) - "The Orb", last seen in the possession of the Nova Corps in Guardians of the Galaxy. Time (Green) - "The Eye of Agamotto", last seen being kept in the library of Kamar-Taj in Doctor Strange. Soul (Orange) - The Soul Stone is the only one that has yet to be seen, or at the very least has yet to be revealed. Some speculate that it is in the possession of Heidmall, the all-seeing and all-hearing guardian of the Bifrost in Asgard. However, this is only speculation and cannot be proven.
Jack, the problem with DC is that they don't own the movie rights to their properties. Marvel and DC both went bankrupt, or at least were going bankrupt and sold the movie rights to properties in order to stay afloat. The difference is Marvel was bought by Disney, and Marvel Studios was created. This allowed them to slowly re-aquire the properties that they had previously sold. Now, the majority of Marvel properties are owned by Marvel Studios, with a few still being held by Sony Pictures and 20th Century Fox, and Universal Pictures. On the otherhand, DC's properties are owned by Warner Brothers (a few smaller properties might be owned by other companies, though I'm not sure). Marvel has control over its movie properties, and are able to craft a cohesive "cinematic universe" that, with the help of Disney, has been hugely successful. DC's movie properties are controlled solely by Warner Brothers, which is why they have struggled to create a cohesive universe. DC does not have creative control, whereas Marvel does.
Nathan Bullock Yeah, I was just recalling from memory. The point I was trying to make is that there isn't even a DC equivalent of Marvel Studios. Warner Brothers up until this point have basically been doing what Sony did with Spider-Man.
Daniel Kintigh Depends on how you look at it. BVS was rushed because Warner Brothers is trying to do what Marvel has been doing for years. They're trying to jump right into the Justice League, whereas Marvel had several solo movies leading up to the Avengers. Marvel Studios is way more organized, mostly because it's owned by Disney, and Disney does this sort of thing better than anyone else. As far as BVS is concerned, it's biggest flaw was that it was never supposed to be BVS. It was originally going to be Man of Steel II. That's where we were going to see Lex Luthor and the whole "does the world need a Superman" story. But when Man of Steel didn't do as well as they had hoped, they changed the plans. They wanted to fast-track to Justice League, and instead of taking their time they threw Batman in and called it Batman vs. Superman. Who wouldn't want to see THAT movie? So now all of a sudden you had 2 separate stories in one movie. But that wasn't enough. Who's the greatest villain Superman ever faced? Doomsday! Let's thrown him in there! Now we have Death of Superman! Now we're up to 3 separate stories! But wait, we also want to lead up to Justice League, so let's include Wonder Woman, and cameos for Aquaman, Cyborg, and the Flash! And let's tease Darkseid! BVS suffered from the same thing movies like Spider-Man 3 and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 suffered from- trying to do too many things at once. Marvel hasn't had that problem. They've taken their time. They tested the waters with Iron Man, then Thor, then Captain America. suddenly they had a whole cinematic universe in front of them with virtually limitless possibility.
DropIn xV: not to disagree with you but Time Warner (Warner Bros. parent company) owns DC so it's actually the same as Marvel is now. But otherwise good lesson.
Miguel Rejaba Thinking about it now it's so stupid, its not like Taylor's even a dumb name, Gavin just made a song to go along with it and now it's funny for some reason
Moana It's because Michael & Lindsay had a dog or something, and Gavin said he would pay some amount of money to name the dog Taylor Jones. Of course, Gavin never payed anything yet still called him Taylor Jones, and Michael said that the dog thought it was his nickname and would come running anytime Gavin said, "Here comes Taylor Jones!" Michael talks about it on RT Podcast #350 I think.
well if you have a credit card you are off to a great start, go to Rooster Teeth dot com, when entering the site you should see a tab labeled FIRST with a big yellow star... I think you can get the gist of things after that.
domehammer If you look at shots of Heimdal, you can see his eyes glowing orange. Also his armor has a little orange spec in the chest. The last stone to be found is the Soul-Stone. Heimdal is blind, but through Bifrost he can see 'millions of souls'
+cobrakingofeart I feel like, though, that if Heimdall has it, it does raise some questions. For one, it kind of invalidates the whole end-credits scene of Thor: the Dark World where Volstagg is explaining why it's a bad idea to have two Infinity Stones so close together when passing the Aethe on to the Collector- literally half of the stones were on Asgard at the same time at multiple points in the movie, then. If ever there would have been a time for Thanos to get off his chair and start collecting the stones, it would have been then. Also, I just personally feel like it makes it very hard to bring in some of Marvel's other extremely powerful superhumans if it seems like all of the really powerful ones need to have their abilities derived from an Infinity Stone in some way (Vision is powered by one, Strange [while powerful on his own] can manipulate time with his, Loki's staff housed another]. And Captain Marvel's apparently going to get her powers in Infinity War through one of the stones, too. I get the idea of connecting everything in the MCU through the stones, but sometimes it's cool just to have a powerful character come about without having a stone in their origin (like Spider-man). Having Heimdall's powers come from the Soul Stone is like them turning around and saying back in the original Thor movie that Mjolnir was forged from the power Gem and that's why it's so awesome. You can be super-powerful in the MCU without an Infinity Stone.

The necklace of Agamemnon. The necklace was found in the ruins of Troy during the great Skrull siege of the secret avengers after the Siege event. The Skrull Huntress, Helen, caused a The Kree character Paris to kidnap her and take her to the Secret Avenger Trojan base and The Ancient One decided to protect Paris. After Agamemnon brought the Skrull armies to destroy Troy, Hawkeye shot an arrow that killed Agamemnon and took his eye and gave it to the Ancient One.
Jack's very useful for informing me about whether a film is worth seeing or not. Basically if he loves it and gushes about it then I'll more than likely think it's a shit film.

Okay, but their numbers were wrong on the penny thing. Geoff didn't say "A million dollars in pennies", he said "A million pennies" which would be just over 5.5 thousand lbs.
A theory of the whereabouts of the soul gem is that heimdall from Thor has it in his chest piece!! Look at a picture of his chest plate and you will see a 'yellowy' gem in the middle. It makes sense also as Thor 3 is the next 'major' marvel film in my opinion and with infinity war coming out the year after, there's limited films for them to introduce the gem!! Anyway I can't wait to see what happens haha!!

Everyone is hyped for Rogue One but it's the exact same as episode 4 (for the 2nd time, bc Episode 7 was also the same movie). Like, you have some person from some desert planet that's recruited by the rebellion to stop the Death Star and it turns out their father is the one that's creating it. And then there's ice planets, and forest planets, and a Death Star run. Like, I'm looking forward to it, but its the same movie.

Jack, this is the third time you have mentioned that Doctor Strange is one of the most powerful Marvel characters. I get Déjà Vu everytime.
4th
bluehacks14 i love Jack, i really do, but he can sound like a stuck record sometimes
An impromptu Extra Life 2016 stretch goal should've been, if they got $1,000,000, Michael had to name his kid Taylor Jones.
its a reference from the olympics lets play, Gavins runner was named Taylor Jones so that was pretty much where it came from
Miguel Rejaba
Thinking about it now it's so stupid, its not like Taylor's even a dumb name, Gavin just made a song to go along with it and now it's funny for some reason
RED MEDINA no they don't have a dog its from the Olympics lets play
I'm sure they gave away the longest lets play, as soon as they said next level fuckery I knew it was Uno part 2
you know what, i am a first member and i still perfer to watch it here
hojokono
Whys that?
idk about them but there's not much out sundays so I wait
same, less player issues. also I supported them with my membership, might as well double down and get the msome views here as well
Help me become a first member :(
well if you have a credit card you are off to a great start, go to Rooster Teeth dot com, when entering the site you should see a tab labeled FIRST with a big yellow star... I think you can get the gist of things after that.
God the ending when Matt sung was so amazing. It wasn't perfect but thats what made it amazing
The longest let's play will be motherfuckin' uno, I can feel it in my bones
H0LYPIZZA I don't understand how that last literal hours though.
Just wait and see, when it happens you will know
good shit dude
32:14 I wonder what's the Walking Dead theory, that Geoff is thinking about.
Lone Avenger maybe the one about Daryl blinking morse code to Rick in the last episode.
Maybe the one about how every time someone hesitates to finish a thought spells out the youtube URL to Never Gonna Give You Up.
well this took a turn for the worst
They should make a series on all those let's plays that have not been uploaded. Something like: "AH: Lost Episodes".
I can't help but notice that the Off Topic podcast feels more like the old RT podcast, like pre-episode 200 of the rt podcast.
watching 7 days to die lets play is one of the best playlist on RUclips in 2016 I hope it becomes a more regular series
The missing H in the sequence of Infinity Stones is Heimdal. The gatekeeper of Asgaard.
domehammer If you look at shots of Heimdal, you can see his eyes glowing orange. Also his armor has a little orange spec in the chest.
The last stone to be found is the Soul-Stone. Heimdal is blind, but through Bifrost he can see 'millions of souls'

Apparently.
i'm thinking heimdall has it b/c of thor's vision and the T.H.A.N.O.S. theory
cobrakingofeart same. Also explains why he can see every SOUL in the universe
+cobrakingofeart I feel like, though, that if Heimdall has it, it does raise some questions. they said it has to reach a certain amount of views to be able to do another episode of it
+SURESH0T9292 sad but tru. there's no way it'll reach that much. I'd be willing to watch more pokemon tbh

for what it's worth, I think the spelling out of Thanos with the owners is pretty interesting, Jack.
You'll never ever see this, but I wanted to mention it c:
Last stone may be "Him". Notice the thing missing from the Collector's museum. It was there at one point, but then it wasn't.
Okay, but their numbers were wrong on the penny thing. Geoff didn't say "A million dollars in pennies", he said "A million pennies" which would be just over 5.5 thousand lbs.

The Da Vinci of columns and rows. That's what you would call a Staff Accountant to make them feel better about working long hours for dirt cheap.
