lol so i have this edgy black and white picture of andy as my laptop's wallpaper and he's wearing eyeliner and stuff, and one of my friend who was passing by pointed at my screen saying "that's pretty" and i was like "*that* is a singer, he's really good btw" and she flat-out replied with "oH IT'S A GUY ???" and i just laughed for like ten minutes XD

i really like how he admits to not having the suicidal feeling before and writing about it. I think he gained some respect just for stating it and sadly wanting to be able to experience it to understand it

I love how he calls it a 'burned out' song. That is a very apt description and I feel he really did well in capturing emotions in the song.
I love these kind of videos because when you listened to that song again, or like other kind of songs that that he's talked about, you kind of hear them a little differently than you did before.
I love that there are still people out there that know the problems some people go through and he knows he has the power to help and he always have made music helping me and lots of other people sometimes when I cry and I listen to his music it kinda feels like an escape from being sad. I saw them live for the first time 3 days ago and they played lost it all and I almost cried because that song helped me through alot including other songs like savior put the gun down Carolyn and a lot more

I love these videos and the time Andy took to explain the meaning behind each of the songs on the record. I think this song is the most relatable for me out of all of them just on the condition that I am burnt out emotionally and mentally; I'm finishing up my junior year of college and have been ground into the dirt with the stress and exhaustion that is coming from my major and pressure I put on myself. As soon as I finish my last final this week, I turn straight around and am going to a completely different country for 3 months, start a new job and life, all the while not going to see my family for over 5 months following the trip...this record could not have come at a better time and I look forward to hearing it!
I know I'm just another fan and you probably will never see this but this song saved my life along with other music it helps me find strength and I've sent it to a couple other people and it saved them too. I still think about suicide and how I've almost lost people to it but this song pulls me through everytime.

Andy's entire album is great I absolutely love it my favorite song from his album would have to be between homecoming king and drown me out I found out I missed his concert when he was actually in my state a little while ago and I felt so sad for like the rest of the week I really hope the next concert that he has that is close by me I won't miss and I can go to I've always wanted to go to one of his concerts and get a VIP pass to meet him

Honestly this song connected with me so much, this album came out when I was dealing a lot of pressure and feelings of burn out in school and things were looking pretty bleak. When i heard this song it was like Andy tapped into my innermost thoughts and put them into the song, and this song and all of the other songs on the album helped me push through and make it to graduation and now im heading off to college in August, and its probably the most cliche thing i can say but this song saved me from just throwing in the towel and quitting because i knew i was not alone in my feelings, just thank you so much for the music Andy, and for everything you do for the fans, and for opening up and sharing your personal stories with us on stage, i saw you in Dallas and i know you probably dont read these comments but still just keep the music coming

@@alexisfisher2997 As a person who is suicidal and has that tendency, and has a Father with the same issues.. it's best to form a strong bond. Let them know that you are always there and do your best to be what they need at the moment, but still, take care of yourself.

honestly at first I thought the song was about suicide and the heavy breathing in the song it all gave my mind a visual but now that I saw this it put me in a different mind set for this song I absolutely love it its amazing
