      hehe yup I know, originally it was a cocktail molotov with fire, explosion and smoke but cause it didn't look so good and realistic, had to remove it; it looked more like a videogame fire and explosion :S fire is one of the most difficult effects to recreate in VFX/CG and make it look real but I'm still learning :D

    is the geometry wireframe simply modelled in maya/max/3d package? THanks!

      Hello there, thanks for your kind words! I modelled them in Maya with simple planes/boxes with a bit of adjustments and rendered them with different render passes/elements and ofc in wireframe mode directly from Maya, hope it help ;)

    Hi, Your work is super cool man, I'm using boujou, pftrack for tracking and then export tracking data to 3ds max, but when I model according to tracking data, It almost go with all frames but 3d objects are not exact stable, it slide on the surface a little, can you give me some tips or show your workflow ... that would be really helpful man... thanks... looking forward to your reply...

      @bLaStInAtOr130 8 лет назад +2

      +hitesh luhar you have to set fit the plane in either pftrack or 3dsmax according to the scene, like rotate, translate until the persective looks right

    Curious, what camera are you using to film all of these sequences? Is it just your phone or? Would love to know because when I try to track using bijou, syntheyes, Ae or Mocha, I can' get them to lock on to the footage properly.

    one question about wireframe geos ... i think its a matter of time to model your geos in maya like buildings scene, disks scene ...etc
    did you rendered it as wireframes direct from maya or you added wireframe node in nuke ?
    I'm trying to be more simple in my showreel same as you did in yours ... would love to hear your tips.
    Good job mate !

      +YTDex hehe thanks! all my previous comments disappeared strange :S for those wondering about the sound, some studios actually prefer it without sound because they say it distracts them visually from the showreel so in this case, I didn't implement it but yeah, I guess it depends on who's looking at the reel :D

  • @emilseihmanis

    Can someone explain what is that leans distortion?

    • @pampiuk
      @pampiuk 10 лет назад +2

      ufff.. its kinda hard to explain but to make it simple, when you are filming/recording while moving, objects won't appear to be in a straight line, they will appear to be bent and blurred to the camera so in order to recreate the exact scenario and movement in 3D as much as real as possible, lens distortion needs to be applied (oversize, canvas, etc.) to the 3D camera with factors like parallax, focal length, etc. so that the 3D objects are not straight like in real life; rather than straight they will appear to be "bent" just to the 3D camera. Hope this helps understand better the theory but you will have to do some research and study the field for a better understanding and comprehension so good luck ;)

    • @KiranR95
      @KiranR95 Год назад

      I know it's been 5 years but if you are still curious, 3dequalizer and Maya is the common pipeline used for Matchmove!

  • @HackerMan1212
    @HackerMan1212 10 лет назад

    Um OK i have a question, it may seam stupid to all you pro VFX artists but, I was wondering how you guys put a 3D object reflection into a real life video? Like he did at 0:48. Just show me a video that someone else shows how to do it so you don't have to write all the steps out.

    • @pampiuk
      @pampiuk 10 лет назад +2

      well, you actually need to recreate the scene; in this case I created a plane and camera matched where the tiles are and made it reflective so it reflects the 3D phone and just render the reflection pass, hope it helps but for step by step process, you will have to do some research, I'm pretty sure there are good online tutorials so good luck! ;)
