This is weird but what I liked about this was the guy on the red HD looked so at ease riding the Dragon and that is the way it should be. Safe riding my friends.
@@leslielong2416 It’s a really fun ride, and it’s equally as fun to hang out at the bottom where the tree of shame is. Fun vibe down there. So many amazing roads in that area!
first time I scraped the floorboards on my 2018 FLTRU was exciting, wasnt sure what it was at first, the amazing thing i could have leaned a little more. Just put Legend suspension on front and back so should be be even better. Probaly never do the dragon but we have some nice twisties in BC Canada to.
Awesome! Have a great time! If you can sneak a run on 32 by Cosby an Hartford that is also an amazing road. It does turn to dirt at the SC border for a mile-ish….
The Dragon is a lot of fun but the whole area around it is absolutely amazing. So many great roads and there are some secret ones that are arguably better than the Dragon. The Smokies are incredible!
Wow! Great ride and skills! I’ve been there a couple of times on my Road King but I guarantee I couldn’t keep up with you guys. I would’ve pulled over and waved!
Just came across your channel, nice footage! Dragon is fun, but the other roads up there are fun as well. I’m lucky I live about 2.5 hrs from that area.
I'm good brother! Yes, I am actually heading out to Colorado and Utah next week. Hitting the Million Dollar Highway, North Rim of the Grand Canyon and more. Can't wait!
@@FullTankAdventures Always loved that stretch running north out of Durango, drop into Silverton for a beverage, up thru Ouray to Ridgeway. Then from there, riding west towards Placerville (Rolf Lauren has the biggest ranch in Colorado on the west side heading west, you’ll see a beautiful fence for miles and a gate RL on it). But the ride to Placerville then loop around east to downtown Telluride is always a favorite trek. Mountain Park Village halfway up the mountain from Telluride is where we always stay at the Mountain Lodge at Telluride (great breakfast burritos). Love that area, I’ve ridden it a lot.
Great job!! I rode to deals gap last September from Southern California to ride the Dragon, it rained the entire time we were there so needless to say our ride was a bit muted, we were not pushing it on wet pavement, plus someone had painted "oil" in white spray paint on a bunch of the corners so we were worried about wet pavement with oil to boot. Truth is I enjoyed Cherohala Skyway much more but I would not mind going back one day to ride the Dragon when its dry.
I always get stuck behind slow Harley riders that refuse to ease over and let others pass. Imagine my surprise when 2 baggers came up hot behind me. I pulled to the right and watched them blow by me. I was on a 72 Honda SL 350 but still it was impressive.
I keep telling folks the only reason their bagger cant go fast on the drag is because they dont know how to ride it yet. Good riding. Love leaning these heavy girls over.
I can't get my road glide into turns like these guys. I have to move over on the seat when I turn. Even changing lanes. Idk what's up but I'm riding pretty good. Just very exaggerated
Nice video! Heading down in July from NW Iowa, wanted to do something different than Iron Mountain, Needles, etc this year, did you ride the skyway as well? Stay safe!

We had a great time!
This is definitely on my bucket list, lol. Been hearing about it for a long time.

One of my favorite roads! Awesome video
It was a fun one! We got lucky that their wasn't a ton of traffic as well.
Thanks for the ride along and video
Thanks for watching!
The smokies are great fun the Dragon is just one place among many. Don't forget to take in in wheels through time museum in Maggie Valley..😊
Yes! Definitely an awesome place.

great ride video! it is incredible to see how close those hard bags get close to the ground during turns.
Ha, yep! Next upgrade is a slightly taller suspension to give those babies a little more space.
Cracking ride. Thanks for capturing and sharing Matty 🤙🏻
Thanks for watching!
Just came across your channel. Nice ride! Thanks for taking me along on the Tail of the Dragon. Never been, hoping to some day. 👍

Thank you! You definitely should, its an amazing ride!
Outstanding…. How’ve you been? Any big rides ahead, maybe an Iron Butt Saddlesore 2000 in 48 hours?! Love to see you vlog that!

Oh man, you need to go back! There are several other roads there that are just as good if not better than the Dragon.

@@lamardurden8460 Was it us?!? 🤣🤣
@@FullTankAdventures I was wondering the same thing. If it was, much respect.
Damn, yall rode those hogs like champs. Those are tight corners for those huge bikes
Thanks! We shaved some weight off the floorboards 🤣🤣
Ride it like you stole it and you plan on keeping it!!
Also watched 2 videos and had to subscribe!
The awesome riding and perfect music really works
Thanks!
BADASS! 😱👍
Thanks! It was a really fun ride!
Great vid...showing how a harley can handle the curves :-)
Haha, thanks! It was a fun ride!

🤣🤣. Oh she’ll go!
That's why there's signs posted at both ends that say NO TRUCKS....

How you doin buddy?! You out on the trail, throwing down some miles?
Yep! working on several new rides. Utah, Arizona, Colorado, etc. It's been a good summer!
Why didja stop at the overlook? There's more to go!
We road it three times, we got it covered 🤣
I do not I repeat I do not have these guys skills at all awesome video for sure tho
You’ll get there!
Nice video! Heading down in July from NW Iowa, wanted to do something different than Iron Mountain, Needles, etc this year, did you ride the skyway as well? Stay safe!
We did! We rode a ton of different rides out there.
Weird question, what gear were you in 2ed or 3rd?
Mostly 2nd, it was rare to get into 3rd on the Dragon.
i noticed your patch says Minnesota, do you live in Minnesota? I live near Duluth
Yes sir! I live west of Minneapolis.
Can you ride the tail with a passenger - any comments - thx
Definitely. Especially on a bagger it’s pretty easy with a passenger.
thx for the reply@@FullTankAdventures
Your poor camara, bro 😂
Yeah, oops!! 😬😬
