I got a $5 discount on parts at FMS just for watching your video. That's really cool! Thank you! For me, the discount only worked when the total purchase price was over $50. Maybe that's the way it has to be. Just in case anyone is wondering why the discount doesn't work ;-) English is a foreign language for me but I can understand your clean English and clear voice in the videos and the pace of speech is not too fast. I get useful tips and tricks here and the fact that you always do the test runs, as far as the FCX24M is concerned, on the same track is valuable to be able to compare the models well. This annoying big root at the end of the test run is probably quite a challenge for every 1/24 model ;-) I really appreciate your work here, thank you.
Thanks very much, glad you're enjoying my videos and were able to make use of the discount code. 👍 Yeah that last root is quite big tbf, especially for a 24th scale. 👍
Awesome in-depth review. Well done and thank you. I like these very much. Only one little cosmetic gripe: they obviously went for that yellow solid plastic on all four to save on paint costs, compared to their previous painted models and it shows. These could really do with a custom paint job to hit the scale value over the roof.
They're awesome aren't they. Just editing the Range Rover video right now, it performed brilliantly, much better than the Disco. Video should be up Wednesday. 👍😁
El Discovery , sin lugar a dudas. Tengo uno de 1.993 . Genial video , tengo que conseguirme este 1/24. Pena no impermeabilizen el interruptor de encendido. Gracias y saludos.
Same sentiments. I found the wheels too big too for the defender....did you happen to find any links for replacement wheels that are smaller? The current ones do not look "camel trophy" proportion.
Yeah shame they're so big. I believe the wheels are 0.75", most are 1" so I guess it depends if any companies like Injora do any or decide to do some. 👍
Very good review, the size comparison was great the TRX4M is a real 1/18, I was hopping that they are not 1/24 but this confirm it they are too small for my collection 🔵🔵🔵🙂🙂🙂👍👍👍🔵🔵🔵

I wouldn’t say to go fcx18 or regular fcx24 for performance because my course is designed around the smaller rigs, the others wouldn’t even fit the lines but these with some proper fabrication and mods can become much better ( i would probably take everything off the top minus the actual rack as well just for some more gains)
That's only specific to your course though. The FCX18 and FCX24 platforms have better performance due to their size and features. The FCX24M is great though, especially the Range Rover which performs the best out the box. I love the look with all the accessories etc, think they look great. 👍
@@DoURC right but their size and features make them 1/18 not 1/24… thats my whole point you can say it perfoms better but thats only because its not the same size whatsoever and it needs a completely different terrain to drive on (stock at least) so in my opinion no their performance can’t even be compared in the slightest that’s like saying a 1/10 will outperform a 1/18 or 16th its just stating the obvious of course it can go over bigger rocks its not the same size dude😂😂
@caelinator101 Not quite, they're all mini crawlers and they're hardly that much bigger. The FCX24 is 'meant' to be 24th scale but obviously it isn't. If you look at it the other way, the stock FCX24M Range Rover outperforms a stock TRX4M. It's not like a TRX4M or FCX18 is driving over huge boulders compared to the tiny FCX24M driving over stones! When I test them, I run them on the same obstacles. The difference between a tenth scale and 18th scale is huge, the difference between a 24th and 18th isn't. If I mention in a video say an FCX24M vs an FCX18, it's so people who don't have them already can understand the differences before they buy, so they can make a choice. 👍
It includes a battery. Also the battery tray is big enough for the FCX18 battery, which is around 900mah, so I'd just get an FCX18 battery as that'll last ages, well over an hour. 👍
