My guttural BMXer compliment: fucking sick. My true compliment: This, was amazing. I'm very happy with what I just watched. I feel like whatever spirt-of-street-riding that possesses me, also possesses Alex. At the risk of sounding arrogant, most spot usage in BMX videos is so disappointing that I rarely think "that was a great idea," or "that's exactly what I would've done." Not the case here. I think Alex gets it. Spots talk and if you pay attention, they will show you how to use them. No need to impose your will on them (unless that IS what it's asking for). You know this is an inspiring video because here I am reflecting and ranting about the nature of street riding. Alex probably doesn't think this much about spot usage because, if he's anything like me, it's obvious to him. It's automatic. I'm only able to bullshit about it now because I've slowed down. I'm not scouring for spots everyday. I have time to reflect and ask myself why. This video not only motivated me to ride, but to also THINK about riding. I'd love to pedal up and down alleys and talk about spots with y'all.
Great. My personal favorites were -gap to back pedal on the A-frame rail setup- anddd -tooth hanger to back pedal thing- .... Just really cool stuff and very refreshing to see... good job guys
