That's every reason why we should not go cashless or make everything digital.
Oh dear oh dear oh dear. The UK's economy is 97% digital only 3% of our nation's finance is cash - 3% - a bit late for that now
@@ChickpeatheTortie CBDC is the digital enslavement that's being pushed by the Globalists which will eliminate all cash use eventually and it will be controlled by the Central Bank what we can & cannot spend our digital tokens on.The UK is trailing it next year.
candles and wind up radios seems to me that they are expecting no Electricity so no landline phones or Mobiles, or computer, no internet, no cash points, or banks, as they have shut so no way to access your own money and no cash either
Totally
@@3879keith yes Barclays are closing my branch next April, they closed one three years ago near me in a small village town, now the main town branch is closing. So they are expecting people to go to the nearest City now, about 20 miles away. Nationwide have not closed any & they even advertise this fact.
I've been prepping since 2019. Still need more essentials. I'm alone with my 2 sons. Feels like something really dark and demonic coming . Stay strong, people. Hopefully, people will stand against these agendas

Sorry lad, but the moment I take any advice whatsoever about survival from the government I'm already dead.
In 2023 only a lunatic would think they have our best interests at heart
Yeah 100%
Exactly yeah let's all buy a radio so we can be notified to more of there bullsh*t and lies 😆 more like let's buy tortches and lighters because what we going to light the dam candles with 🤣

I was thinking that about having a raido, why do i want to hear what the government has to say?!
Radio or TV, same difference. Still MSM; which we are wise to. And avoid...
Another thing to add which all good preppers are fully aware of is : Once the power goes out there is a Short period where other services continue but not Long. No Power means no Pumps, the water pipes will quickly lose pressure. The Gas Pipes will Lose pressure. Modern Boilers Won't Fire without electricity. Good Luck trying to get Fuel. Once power goes out, fill every Container possible with drinkable water. Make sure of other methods to heat food, have Warm Blankets and keep your Car Fuelled Up. If its only a Few hours no Problem, Longer than 12 Hours real problems Mount up fast. Prepare and you can ride it out. Think how lucky you are, if you have a Fire Place or Wood Burner. Again all preppers know this , & have Backups.
im in an old house with 2 working fire places, if need be id open up the bedroom fires too, new houses dont have them!!
If you can, make sure you have a good filter to hand. Don’t trust the water if it is given to you ❤
Also, the loo won’t flush (you won’t want to waste drinking water for that), and the drains might back up 💩
I also have 2 log burners plus we have a natural spring in the garden and a covered well somewhere on our land, plus our only neighbour has a well….. we have started to build a veggie patch and I’ve already put solar lights all around the property as it’s really dark here at night. I’ve also got some great battery operated indoor wall lights from Amazon that turn on and off when they sense you, I’ve had them up for months now and the batteries haven’t gone flat yet and we use them in the living room so they are coming on and off all day….I was thinking of buying more anyway to save on electricity…..we have already had a few power cuts whilst living here in last 2 years and it’s absolutely pitch at night with no electricity round here. We don’t have mains gas here at all, just gas bottles for the cooker which are both full… I think I have enough pasta to last me a lifetime 😂 problem is that’s all I have, I’m hoping my vegetable growing skills improve this year as last year wasn’t to successful….. I defo not a gardener 😂😂
How long is the power gone for like .. surely not forever 🤦♀️😂
Typcial government. One minute telling us everything from ID to currency to cars to heating will be electric/digital. The next they tell us to keep 'old school' kit handy because we could lose these same capabilities, amongst other threats.
When I worked at Perkins Engines in the 90s we were ordered to remove the air raid siren from the roof of the factory. I wonder how many others were removed across the UK.
Re radios: Not sure I'd want to hear what the Govt says, proven track record of disregard for the populace.
shortwave.
Should be stocked up on these anyway……. Don’t forget a pack of card, some good books, board games, craft/colouring items etc. I go days without connecting to the inter web does not bother me at all. As long as I can contact family, so have a contact plan in place for your loved ones. Xx
well your not that generation that smart phone welded to there hand, are you I can tell? they are already lost when battery runs out, or they get a nasty word or two in a text message?
About time they went through the bank accounts of the pm and other mps see where the fraud really happens. Love how they pass the buck on the little guy. I see us all going back to growing our food and fending for ourselves.

Charity shops are awesome for candles and for battery powered radios, I work in one and people obviously too asleep otherwise why would you donate these essential items.
In Wilko they used to have some candles that were not made in China. Then they closed it down.

I looked at the link regarding Govt. resilience. We're goosed. It's a bit late for them to come out with this framework since we have a concerning level of boat people, banks in US going insolvent, wars via Nato, local councils are going belly up and a head of state pursuing his vanity project. We're ruled by weffers, plan accordingly.
I knew this would happen 10 years ago when I lived in London...now I live in southern Europe with a veggie garden, water from a well, a few fire and brick ovens wood stove ect, water bottles maybe 3 months' supply of food but I do not consider a proper prepper. Had zero power cuts last year in Devon, had no problems with anything.
Personally really couldn't careless anymore.
@clairelees6718 you can store pasta in airtight jars/containers with the use of oxygen absorbers it will last for up to 30 years, as long as the moisture is less than 10% you can use oxygen absorbers for things like oats, pasta and dry beans.

It sounds to me much like frighening people into panic buying consumerables that aren't widely purchased regularly.
More like fear mongering and distraction while they are taking away our rights.
Just checked the everready battery comp Ltd. Shares are performing well so it's not the batteries they're selling 😂
Yep, and I reckon they won't even need to use them. They tried scaring people about blackouts this time last year and they never materialised. It's all fear porn. They've seen the herd behaviour with the toilet rolls in 2020. They just need to sow the seed and people are in panic and fear. Nudge, nudge. Nothing wrong with being prepped, which most of us are, but this message is for the non preppers in order to scare them I think.
The bank account check is also for anyone who gets a state pension, is this leading to means testing? I wonder.
I have heard that it's to check how people are spending their benefits and to bring in means-tested pensions.

Hey Funky, if you start your live videos like you do these shorter videos, the shadow ban will end, you'll start getting promoted again... The algorithm just picks up on videos with a fast drop off rate, if people stick around your video gets much further reach. If you rearrange the format where the first hour is dedicated to new viewers, where you just talk content, and at the end of the content you thank all your members and all the donations so new viewers, who you need to subscribe, or at least watch the video, to get boosted in the algorithm, aren't pushed away at the start.. Your first minute of the video needs to grip, the following 10 mins needs to hold the audience and by then they should be locked in and subscribing, but while you spend 20 minutes thanking members and donations, you will never get boosted in the algorithm, you will stagnate and only get shared with people who are already subscribed, you're basically preaching to the choir and no one else sticking with your current live format... Try it once, prove me wrong and I'll never mention this again, but I prove you wrong, you give me a shout out at the end of the video and enjoy the rapid boost in subscribers overnight! What do you have to lose?
Excellent advice !
This! ❤
Well said I concur.

The map of air raid sirens mentioned isn't for air raid sirens they are a mixture of flood, industrial such as refinery sites and gas terminals, nuclear sites and secure sites like Broadmoor hospital, prisons etc. All of the cold war sirens were dismantled through the 1990's or recommissioned for flood warning etc. The mobile phone alert system would be used in the case of an air raid.
correct sir, many fall in sites under the CIMAH OR COMAH definition In my county we are the most dangerous for these with about 30 top tier sites which basically means if it goes bang the town would disappear or a very large area would be contaminated with very nasty stuff. Again as you correctly state the early warning system of old decomissioned or repurposed for flooding and fallback is indeed mobile phone alert. It will be very interesting as @FUNKYPREPPER hasnt mentioned is the old land lines are being removed and you have to plug it into your router now, and the idea is to make it that all landlines are this way in th next few years, BT has just run multiple advertisments regarding this, so if it all goes wrong with no mobiles or land lines how will the populous communicate? back to analogue stuff like vhf and uhf radios or even c.b.
@@markjeffers1341 Have not seen the BT adverts as someone who doesn't have terrestrial TV or any other broadcast TV (assuming that is where it might have been). The tories really are taking us back to the 70's and power cuts ect
WOW normally we don't take notice what the Government says.
When I moved to Gt Yarmouth, (about 40 years ago) They used the old air raid sirens as flood warnings (I nearly cacked my pants first time I heard it-thought the big one had been dropped-cold war era) I wonder if that's why the air raids have been tested in Avonmouth? Isn't that near the Bristol channel-a tidal river? We're on the River Yare which is also tidal. Maybe they're being re-used for flood warnings. Seems reasonable to assume so, as flooding seems to be happening more often. We've had unprecedented flooding on the Norfolk Broads recently.
The 57 Norfolk flood sirens have all gone, there is a map showing where they once was....google Norfolk flood sirens
PROBLEM most, if not virtually all analogue services in the UK have been axed; its going to cost millions to restablish these and have something usable for resiliance purposes... local analogue radio stations for news and entertaiment are being closed down left right and centre. Its even hard today to find people to talk to CB these days!
Are they hard to use? I just got one and some friends, we are thinking of meeting in radio regularly for practice
FM should give some stations.
It looks like all the precipitation, might fall as snow. So a weather emergency might be on the cards. It seems cyclical the last bad winter was in 62 Steam trains, and coal fires we hardly noticed it, this time it will be different.
Except there are no AM radio stations anymore, except asian ones and a few low power local commercial broadcasts which will soon have gone digital despite the take up of digital being pitifully low. Ireland has scrapped it's DAB service for that reason. LW is dead with the sole remaining LW station Radio 4 on 198 khz destined for closure soon meaning the Droitwich transmitter site will go permanently QRT which is expected some time in 2024. Buy a CB radio if you don't already have one, in fact buy several.
I better learn how to use my cb radio 😂
I already have a few CBs as I use it most days ....if fact since before it it became legal in the UK .....it's always good to have a comms system plus those PMR 446 walkie talkies...good for short range use .
Would they be expecting terrorist attacks?
They used to use the air raid sirens here in France to alert firebrigade, they stopped using them about 6 or 7 yrs ago, I imagine it's because they have plans to use them again shortly
In the U.S.A many have mr. buddy heaters, cause wood burning stoves will attract unwanted people, (they'll see the smoke coming from the chimney). No elec, no water, no flushing toilets, many suggest 5 gal buckets, with saw dust will help compose it. Good luck to us all

Analogue tv, phone were much more reliable and clear than digital has ever been
When the analogue TV went wrong, you just had to bash it to put it right 😆
@@ClaireGarrard haha yes :)
If the digital signal isn't perfect then you lose the view altogether. With analogue you got a slightly worse picture, but might still have had sound.
With landline phones you could still contact emergency services as it was still powered. They are planning to turn it off. This is very poor planning by the government - only interested in money. The newer systems should have been designed to cope with a power cut, so that they still had a separate wire with power. It is very dangerous the way things are going.
When they got rid of analogue TV it also meant a lot of perfectly good TV's probably went into landfill, and had to be replaced with newer digital TVs - not good for the environment. Same will happen with analogue landlines. From what I can tell, broadband will be more expensive with fibre as well. Some of us cannot afford to be paying more (than the ADSL prices), even if it is only a few more pounds (per month). It all adds up, over a year.
Same will happen if they turn off FM in favour of DAB-only.
How will A.I. run if digital goes dark? Seems like the brainiac maniacs haven't considered this flaw yet.

Er they will have access to your 'credit card account' as well.
Credit cards are run by banks...
I bought a pair of handheld analogue CB radios because if we lose power then broadband goes and mobile masts will drop Internet and only provide voice and SMS until their backup batteries fail. In an emergency a CB radio will let you contact others within 1 to 3 miles away (or more if you have a bigger aerial) and share information. I try to keep power banks charged so I can charge other devices if the grid goes down for a while.
