My blue IS 300 lost a battle with ice last March. I was told I couldn’t get it back on the road because the driver air bag was no longer manufactured. Is that true?
any update on how the lip has been holding up with only 4 bolts and tape? and can you give me a link on amazon or something for those quick nuts you used. i have the same lip and plan on installing it the same way you did
the basedgod its held up perfectly still looks like the day it was put on! I found these on amazon should be what you’re looking for but any auto parts store will also carry them if you’re looking to do it sooner! 1 more question man. the ends of my lip where you bolt it on doesnt fit flush with my bumper. its almost like the length of the lip is too short. do you think it will mold to the shape of the bumper if i just leave it on for awhile?
I kinda just had to sand the corners and stretch mine out to fit well on the bumper then once I got it into place I drilled the holes to make sure the screws would hold it tight. Mine conformed pretty well!
yeah mines still isnt fitting properly. i sanded it, let it sit outside for the whole day and used a heat gun on it. im probably gonna try and return or exchange it
the basedgod damn well I do know the jdm lips are a bit shorter than the American bumpers so if your lip is made for the jdm bumper that would make sense
@@RotaryDaddy haha I just noticed the last video is 5 days old. Looks good! Can you by any chance throw me a link of the lip? I can’t seem to find a good price/value. They’re all either super cheap and crappy or upwards of 200 bones.
I can post a link to a similar one but with how ebay's always changing I can't be sure it'll be the same. www.ebay.com/itm/FITS-01-02-03-04-05-Lexus-IS300-PU-BLACK-FRONT-BUMPER-LIP-SPOILER-BODYKIT-CHIN/261457041942?fits=Model%3AIS300%7CMake%3ALexus&_trkparms=ispr%3D1&hash=item3ce00dda16:g:8tYAAMXQNo5TbScU&amdata=enc%3AAQAFAAACcBaobrjLl8XobRIiIML1V4Imu%252Fn%252BzU5L90Z278x5ickkXKoKcbeZcOrOku%252BoOBl%252BS3F2Z76MHQZTam0TeKxgebHuAJZUEQTaysgNrYK23DLZ%252Bo48jFI5XvKq5mocG2EO%252B8F61qmfpKMqv66jHxYbRzxmu65bmD51jQezZcmPf%252B7Pd12iNGa5cqGPzMwqAa697aOkTBKxj2rBwumK3%252BK4ORsWajW9ltR6F03MjIpdn7LziMhNP4uvIO6BmiC2NgoyydVmA1wYTeP%252FTERBmZu%252BAwR8CAtEXXD%252FSf2l4A6F4JR20ixFs5vgWmkeT2Oy7rjx5YgQ670Xiphb542q%252BXkMQ7xdNUOBCt6XGvNQKASJd5cegUQXiFX%252B7axjQnGzWLIRwldKN7Ql1jQwwOBcvoToojE%252BHEcarY566E6GzUzVfU8yATcVLAK%252FaVgyfQqAOwSL3Bam01%252B1nAIyqBrPAMuPfMsJzCaEUxPAftZb0k0%252FL4Tk1T%252B3kCNM5C%252FEBC3uT4AnwKtcuVh2XFmfo43nTQB52lsceFTIGi9Hi1%252F3OI5B2OY4eLxSFy8m1wwd78%252FgVxlq0hukhGU%252FqEJEDIiafInF7zqZKAnSBRDrd4QMlcL%252BfuoRQ2KDuchi74o16HF81%252BNuUWnoAG0hroz28v3C3TjhYRNHoxAeg4GqMdKiKJMbEoEieTPDfTkFmk34SdsmxfqMuL3YqUA%252FSLVmLJe2Dj2Hrx4Jzy8s6XfQi7c9jdpjULOEBKRILHLreBpKxRunJs7U61xFqfNwyXBQYcZqGd3DACnLPInnlVyj1UzsLlJ1iwz7TC2u3am%252B7jTiNflokZ5bZg%253D%253D%7Ccksum%3A26145704194279ed4c6982af4ef8a65d6bf8b6444534%7Campid%3APL_CLK%7Cclp%3A2334524
Finally a video that just gets straight to the point, and shows all the steps

That wouldn't surprise me but you can find used ones around out of cars that got parted out!

How did you paint it ?
alex melgar When I got in the accident the body shop had to install a new bumper so I asked them to paint the lip with it!
