Some interesting and absolutely absurd facts about Aquaman:
1) Because the turntable was added later in the planning stages, both of the boats are not built the same. One of the boats doesn’t have the grip on the bottom for the drive tire in the transfer track to grab onto, and the other boat has it, but on the wrong side of the boat.
2) During the summer, the panel overheated because they didn’t buy an outdoor rated panel, so instead of fixing the panel, they ran the ride from a laptop.
3) The panel shorted during the season and killed the screen, so now they’re building an operator booth
4) Boat 1’s restraint sensors (the sensors that make sure the restraint it down far enough) were not fully waterproof, so Boat 1 was out of commission for basically the entire summer, causing for long lines, and a bad experience.
Aquaman was not planned the best it could’ve been. I believe that if SFOT opened the attraction later in the season, it could have turned out much better than it did. I hope they get these problems sorted out.

Aquaman is bullsht ... soft is a cheap azz ho.... I'd rather buy a plane ticket to cedar point or magic mountain... I wonder if they realize most coaster enthusiasts in Texas are embarrassed by our local six flags coaster line up.... facts.... it's really pitiful.... 😢

It really seams such a shame that the original Six Flags Never seems to get the love it deserves. We live in Shreveport La and had made the trip at least once a year since the mid 70's until the late 90's. Just seems like no one in the Six Flags upper management has cared for this park in a long time. We actually would prefer to spend our money at SDC or DW now even though its a longer trip. Hopefully the park will get some love soon. You are doing a great job JB! Keep making the great videos.

They need to add 3 titan level additions. No one rides the white one in the front. Demo it. Then they need to expand behind the titan to add two there. They could even reduce parking near titan to add a coaster there. Early 2000s was the last they were doing well. They need to add paint to the entire park as well.
Sadly La Vibora was closed the the day I returned.

Hi! I don’t know if this adds to anything but around July/August of 2023 I saw some construction in Six flags over Texas near the amphitheater.
I’m not sure if SF will count Aquaman as SFOT’s newest coaster and making them wait longer to get one in 5 years at the very least for example because they’re definitely due for another coaster. Aquaman was supposed to open in 2020 but instead got delayed 3 years. It’s very unfortunate that they’re neglecting their original park. They only gave them a “new attraction” as a log flume extension only to say that it has been scrapped a month later while there are other parks like Over Georgia and Great Adventure, have started preparing to open their 2024 coasters as both of them they got were last minute editions.
Who knows, maybe I’ll go to SOT this year. We‘ll see

Very optimistic about the park and it’s sad.
Hopefully Cedar Fair (if it does happens) does something drastic to have the park change course.
I believe this Cedar Fair merger will bring things that we don’t see coming, great things that we wouldn’t expect. Got nothing but hope for this season

I can see a few new flat rides being added. If they do announce and add a coaster soon it’ll probably be an RMC Raptor that has a relatively small footprint by comparison. Nonetheless I think big projects will be more for 2025 and beyond but a flat ride or two much sooner.

I wouldn't mind a year or two of no additions if it meant money invested in better theming/operations. This park is becoming a dump and they need to focus on guest experience. A new cool ride is meaningless with poor operations
This is my home park. No nothing new coasters since 2002. Flat rides don’t make up for no coasters. Cedar Pair took over so put a coaster in. Extremely rich corporate greed.
