I agree on the rockiness of this trip. We were also in forward and I’m sure I was walking like Jack Sparrow 😅

nice tip about paying attention to windows and verandahs while in port and not leaving curtains open, etc. We were once next to a ship and they had a mens bathroom with floor to ceiling windows in the bathroom facing our Disney ship in the port. We were eating in Cabanas and it was right across from us - could not believe they designed that bathroom that way!!

Love the horn battle. The magics horns are louder as they’re actual horns. While the dream and fantasy use LRAD horns that are basically just amplified speakers. The wish brought back the traditional horns.
Their are real Mayan ruins at the center of the island which are cool to see. It's like a small village, not the big temples on the main land. Do suggest for anyone into history.

It’s not horrible from where we were forward because we were under the spa and adult only pool. Every once in a while we heard chairs scraping but wasn’t bad at night

the horn battle brought tears to my eye...loved it 💖 i finally this past October got to do my first Disney cruise on the Magic and it was so fun and magical..hopefully i get to do another but glad i got to experience one
the only thing i was bit bummed out about was not knowing where and when to get photos with the pirate characters and we had decked out in pirate wear but still went and got photos
The Magic is a great starter ship! Definitely check out the other ships if you can!

Dolphin!! Western Caribbean is probably our next cruise, so thanks for the uncensored insights. We were on the Fantasy Eastern side cruise from 11/25 to 12/2 and we had the rocking and rolling ship from heavy winds and swells the day at sea up to Castaway Cay. Lots of people needing Dramamine that day. We were on 5 aft so I’m not sure there is a calmer spot when things get rough. Thanks again for the fun vlogs 👏👏

🐬 fun to see you guys at Chankanaab! We go there every time in Cozumel- the beach is actually perfect for kiddos, zero entry can be a little scary before they can swim especially if you have a runner lol. We thought the included food was not so good but the food at the cabana beach was 🤌🏻
On Disney Cruises does the waitstaff still follow you from restaurant to restaurant each night? We went on the Magic in 2012 and thoroughly enjoyed it! I don’t know if we’ll be able to afford another Disney Cruise, but really thankful we were able to experience it at least once.

We were on this sailing with you and went to Chunkanaab as well, the back of my head is in your video(LOL). We did not purchase any of the animal encounters. The one thing that was really nice about this park is how empty it was. our family was over on the snorkeling beach until the downpour when we moved to the pool and had lunch. I felt like the beach was totally private, we didn't see anyone else until we went back over to the bar area. We also asked the tour guide if the cab would drop us off at Mega so we could get drinks, cold medicine and a few things we forgot. I felt the food was poor but the cost for a private beach with snorkeling and sandcastle building was well worth it if you dont want/need all the frills. PRO TIP: Check the port calendars, no Royal, carnival, NCL or Princess ships were in port, only the dream and the magic so max 6,000 in port that day. Chunkanaab is closed on Sunday, the only way to get in is with a tour, so offerings may have been light but it was also empty because of this. This was the reason we chose this over other excursions. Days of being in close quarters with 4000 of my best disney dream friends and I am ready to not see anyone for a few hours.

We were in Cozumel on the Fantasy in October. It also started off nice and then got washed out during our trip. Fortunately for us, it started raining as we were getting on the bus to head back to the ship.
