Who could have guessed that shutting down the country for a year would hurt business?
And firing police? The people in Spokane know they'll get mugged.

The Suki Yaki was the last business surviving of Spokane's old Chinatown that got bulldozed for Expo '74

The trend is nobody wants to see human suffering and meth heads roaming downtown while they eat .

Fentanyl Zombieland downtown & everywhere is killing lot of businesses but I highly doubt new mayor Lisa Brown will do any better than mayor Nadine Woodward

How about someone figuring out, "DOWNTOWN PARKING." Parking rates is the Number #1 reason I do not shop downtown unless I absolutely have to. Why would I eat at a Restaurant Downtown and pay 12-20 dollars to just park. That mean my meal and Movie is already 12-20 more than if I shop in the Valley on South Hill or the Northside. The business in Downtown Spokane is being Strangled by there Parking Meters and Parking lots and Parking garage. A Garage the Citizens of this county Paid for and still pay to park in. Someone is got to be Smarter than that. If everyone would have just told Jay Inslee, NO the Fauci Ouchie would not be an issue. So Blame yourself for following a Stupid Mandate.

$20 to park? Where is that?

@@rustlesee I will make the math simple. You decide to go to Breakfast downtown. You park your vehicle. You decide to watch a Movie, taken in some shopping. It is now 5:30 PM. Exactly where you Park and it Cost you Less than 20 dollars is the real question. Let's do the same thing in the Valley on South Hill or the North side. FYI I took my Grandson's to watch the Dinosaur exhibit at the Spokane Arena. It was 25 dollars to park. I parked in the parking lot of some business. It still cost me 12 dollars but my car was not towed. The kicker we had to walk 5 blocks to get to the Arena.

@@alanders3339yep 💯 facts Domini sandwiches I can remember getting big sandwich with bag of popcorn 🍿 while waiting it was $9.95 & now it's $18 but it's worth it but still expensive but in reality we keep losing businesses then downtown will be a ghost town 😢
