That’s pretty cool to come across this video. I met Leroy in 2008 powwow outside of Heber city Utah. I purchased one of the most beautiful turquoise rings I’ve ever owned by this great man at the time I didn’t have enough money to purchase it, but Leroy told me to put it on my finger see if it fits. Since it fit perfectly. He gave me the ring for what I had left and I still have it today.
Just attended the Autry show on June 8th and 9th, 2024. Bought an amazing Hopi sculpture of cottonwood root, the corn 'goddess'(?). I have much more to learn about the figure... A few years ago we each bought a drum from a man from Arizona. These items are expensive to me, but they are each one of a kind, made from a long line of skills and traditions passed down from mentor to apprentice. I'm honored to be able to trade cash for high craftsmanship display pieces. We're part of the many millennia of native tribes trading with outsiders. Next show I hope to have more time as there are many wonderful people and families representing diverse tribal cultures to meet and learn from.
If anyone would like to see some ancient native american art I made a video on my channel showing a bluff behind my house with a bunch of red paintings on it

Went to the American Indian Arts Marketplace today June 11. It was a great day.
Would love to go. My grandmother is indigenous and I think she would appreciate if I bought her a gift.
I would like to attend that show but I am not going near L.A. The traffic is a nightmare. Thanks for the video.
Очень КРАСИВО, СПАСИБО !!!
