Generally, the aircraft owners buy liability insurance. An adjuster comes out, assesses the damage and makes an offer to the farmer (which I've never heard of being refused). It is extremely important to control the retrieval operation to minimize the damage caused by ground handling - I remember humping Ventus wings and fuse 100m out of a field following the exact same tracks each time. A crowd of rubber neckers will cost you a bundle.
@@bilsonFPV LOL... doing this for 30 years plus.... Today the first day of the new season. 2022 , Happy landing, we share the air. - Check my RUclips channel for a lot of video about gliding. BESIDE.. landing in huigh gras is risky. one wing a little low and you will crash..... So please avoid landingin high gras - IF possible....
@@KarelZweefvlieger I know its risky ;). I guess they might have used the radio and confirmed its relatively safe (no hidden objects in the crops etc). And i guess most fields have high grass in that time of year. The yellowish field in the background is even higher
Hope they had a fairly easy going farmer, I can imagine some would be cranky with that many gliders.
Must be under some high tension lines that crackle is pretty intense.
"Look, there's a glider in that paddock, must be OK to land in?!"
You are not alone if... so it atracts... yes it does.
Its gonna be tough to get the grass stains out of the gelcoat.
Follow the leader
Tail low touchdown , not something you need to do very often . Looks like these guys knew what they were doing.
they are trying to fly as slow as possible to avoid ground loop
But also to keep the wings above the grass for as long as possible. Not a problem I ever had in the Blanik the low tail would be though.
❎🚫🐨🌏 that's how crop circles are made . from glider out landings. Keith Australia
What about the farmers crop

@@MrSunrise- thanks for your reply
@@MrSunrise- Here Farmers are so friendly they have never charge us anything to use their field ,,instead they are amazed to see a plane in their land
Why are you landing a glider in a fucking hay field with grass 3 feet high?
Chill loose the attitude
