Welcome to the Life SMP season 5 renamed Secret Life - episode 2! We start Secret Life Ep2 out by getting the secret challenge of the episode and meeting up with Tango and Skizz. My secret challenge is to be Pearl's hype man for 30 minutes and this goes about as you would expect. I built a new building in my town for the server. It's the Life SMP courthouse for the members to use to settle disputes. I hope you enjoy and see you in episode 3 of Secret Life SMP!

Tbf, these guys have been dealing with scar's shenanigans for long enough that there's probably a lot they're willing to brush off as just scar being scar. Being enthusiastically positive about someone is hardly out of character anyway

scar and subtle dont belong in the same sentence, which is usually part of the charm but dang its hard for this mode xD luckily everyone seems too kind to call anyone out
From the other's POV it looked like Scar had a task either to give camel rides or to bring everybody to Pearl's. So it kind of worked. Because nobody even guessed the real task.
Skizzle and Tango: *says how good he is at **-scamming-** persuading people*
Scar, a couple of seconds later: *convinces both of them to give their hearts to him*
Trader sounded a lot like Traitor, which would indeed be relevant for Red life.

Although people aren't allowed to wear helmets, but because scar takes so much random damage they've allowed him to wear a helmet to try keep him safe. It's actually quite sweet 😄

I saw Pearl's pov before this and I thought Scar's task was something like this, considering his Uber services always led to her house.

Secret task idea, the high ground- whenever there is a meeting make sure you are on a higher level than everyone else.

Normally I don't like this advertising within videos, but Scar doesn't just read from a script, he makes something out of it himself. Like the short clips when he was preparing food for his parents, he now brings in his joy about the Disney Racer.

Important note. Most Texas court houses were built by the same group of wandering german stone masons. So a stone building with a clock tower is pretty much a requirement to have a proper courthouse.
Scar's task is 100% foreshadowing, and You cannot convince me otherwise.

Task Idea: "Get someone to correctly guess your task" without breaking any other rules. They only have to guess the quoted part for success. Also telling Bdubs that Pearl is the best builder on the server was priceless. I wish I could have seen his face!

My task idea is something to the effect of:
Get another player to reveal their secret. You will both pass for the session if they do so, but you can't let them know this.
Don't know if it's help or be too much, but could add- Suggestion/Tip: Convince them you're doing a hard mode session and are abandoning your task as well.

Task idea: Plant and grow a bunch of trees in a circle around a players base without getting caught
Maybe - limit amount of the trees like to 10, because some bases already getting big.

Task idea: leave a written sign in five different people’s bases without getting caught. (Someone should make a spreadsheet of all of the suggestions)
After watching everyone else’s episode where Scar was super obvious. I almost died laughing after hearing him say “We gotta be subtle.” Sure, real subtle there. Again, this secret was proof of everyone’s love for Scar since many of them were side eyeing him, but just let him be without calling him out.

An idea that can save some heartache- use the courthouse to settle wether a person has completed their task. There have been a few places where people have been trying to clarify but can’t because they can’t say what their secret is. If the courthouse is a safe space to do that in, it can make it less likely for mistakes to be made.
The Jellie cameo in the Disney ad T_T my heart is melting from the cuteness. I'm always wowed by the quality of Scar's builds, but the fact that he's still building beautiful buildings in the middle of a death game in ultrahardcore mode is so impressive to me. Can't wait to see what happens with the courthouse!

When you think about it, scar has come really far in these series. Earlier seasons he lost lives so quickly, but he's been doing really good. Like his surgery gave him MLG water bucket super powers, third life gave him rpg bartering abilities, and the overall series has increased his resistance to death. Its a beautiful story.
In this episode: Scar gets absolutely hornswaggled in every trade he tries to make
My task idea for Secret Life: at random points in the session, change different body parts of your skin to match with another players’ body part on their skin until your whole skin is completely different
How will they make the new skin mid session? They dont have much time.
Better yet, you have to change a part to every person that talks to you for 30 minutes and then keep it the rest of the session

Task idea: everytime someone asks if you've completed your task, lie and say you failed. Each time someone asks what your task was, you must create a new fake task. You succeed if you make it to the end of the session without reusing a fake task.
Secret task suggestion: time to pick up your fishing gear and go for the big fish. Use the fishing rod to get 3 players at least 2 blocks high in the air.
