I'm from Detroit originally and I've never heard of the amount of officer involved shootings in which the citizen who was shot succumbed to the shot delivered from law enforcement until I moved to Spokane. So there's that. If coming from one of the most dangerous cities in America doesn't constitute as many officer involved shooting occurrences I'm not sure why the number of folks killed by cops here in Spokane is at such a high rate.
