Hi, thanks for your nice comment. I usually fly with a 6S 4000-4500 mAh and get easily 7 minutes of out it, mixed throttle though. After that 7 minutes I still have plenty capacity. I could push to 8-9 minutes but I like to keep my batteries in good health too. The Varioprop works nice and especially the "whoosh" sound adds a little extra.
I am picking up my used model on Friday i am so excited! Do you have your flaperons set up as per the manual? Anything I need to look out for? We are spoilt with a long, tar runway so not really needed but i love the slow fly by's
You'll going to love it! I have the flaperons setup, and pretty everything set up following the manual. Do include the rudder-elevator mix. The PC-21 does everything you ask her to do, it is a very easy plane if you can fly. It's an honest airplane. You don't really need the flaperons to take off or land, but it makes everything a little softer.... I use a 6S 4400 mAh battery, but I've flown everything between a 3700 mAh and a 5000 mAh without any troubles. It flies best if you fly it dynamically, so use throttle management 🙂 I wish you very nice flights!
