I've listened to metal and played it on guitar for years, but I'm relatively new to vocals and do not understand how this is physically possible. Josh scogins from the Chariot does something similar, but I can understand how he blends the two after listening to him transition between voices (like in the song Speak). THIS scream from Andy is just fucking baffling though.

Aye, I love how Andy starts every song at level 10 🫶🏾! Who else can do that?? No build-up over several verses. He comes IN singing his face OFF. This man is so freaking talented, he could sing the phone book and I would listen 🤘🏾🤘🏾.
I mean.. Andy has been at this level for quite some time now but I feel like he's hitting a whole new stride with his song writing, great cadence, soaring bridges, powerful belts. Like yeah, the vox are spot on but the way he put it together is becoming really profound.
I'm in absolute awe that you can switch so smoothly between so many different flavors of screaming, and between those and a clean singing. You rock, Andy! 🤘
I found andy from his post malone cover and instantly had to find out who he was and now hes easily my favourite artist for his vocals. Literally gives me chills listening to him
soooooo amazing, one of if not the best vocalist in the game, crazy control, going from those insane clean vocals to those crazy rhythm screams is so insane, the hard work and dedication this man puts in his craft is just so inspiring
Andy is the reason I learned to truly scream and use proper vocal technique. Throughout my life I had been going all out during my screams and just trashing my voice but ever since I watched his tutorial and his vocal performances, I have seen myself improve exponentially. And although I'm not a full on vocalist and just fill in for side vocals while playing guitar, being able to sustain that voice throughout the whole set and still have a voice left to talk afterwards is something I would have never been able to achieve on my own. So thank you Andy and keep doing what you do best!

You can also look at his live vocal takes to study his breathing and mouth shapes. The key for me was to practice in moderation daily but not be shy to explore the vocal cords and its quirks and limitations and really sit down and analyze what it is I was doing.
