@@jessecoc6247I think he means that that isn’t how it works, in Egglocke mode the eggs are auto raised to the level of the encounter used as a token
The Shiny Deltas are rather interesting. Shiny D. Blastoise is just Bowser and the Mega is Dry Bowser.

Doing the postgame would be really cool, there's an entire new region as well as a bunch more story with a lot of characters. One example being we find out what happened to Audrey.

I actually helped through the forums of insurgence when the game was still in beta :) the perfect Kyurem part was being designed then and a bunch of people together helped with the story it was supersick

@@serious_mood_rig7511 unfortunately, no… They couldn’t find a proper design for it and there were a few story related reasons why they decided to not let the Perfection cult succeed (they had some bigger plans for them back then, but I didnt know what those plans where. Remember the game was only done till just before the kyurem fight back then)

Primal Giratina has a custom ability called omnitype, giving it all types at once. It has very weird type resistances, including a 1/16 to grass( or maybe it was bug, it’s been a while since I played it) moves

Not played insurgence for years but one thing I've always loved about the game is the variety of game modes, and how well they work
See I feel like at first I thought the “edginess” was cringe but they lean into it enough to make it fun and come on when the first gym leaders best friend was a rock that ended up (with perfect comedic timing) to be reshiram and that’s when they basically reveal legendaries will be everywhere, that was the icing on the cake for me
Pokemon Insurgence is actually the best Pokemon game I've ever played. Nice to see someone play it years after its release because its so good.
I'd honestly really love to see an Insurgence Remake with content up to gen 8 and a proper turbo speed function. It's easily one of my favorite fan games of all time.

@@Missingno_Miner nah the mega Eevee was kinda ass plus it's physically impossible to complete the Pokédex if you choose Eevee.
@@Defnotdiablo The heck you on about, mega eevee is one of the best mons in the game. It's super versatile.
@@Missingno_Miner being versatile doesn't make it good lmao it's stats arent worth the mega evolution slot when compared to so many others. It has ok everything, it's a jack of all trades master of none, but mega evolutions are supposed to be game changing. Turning Eevee, an ass Pokémon, into a slightly less ass Pokémon isn't worth the mega evolution slot when there's 3 different forms of metagross for example. Hell even things like delta scizor are only brought down by their typing and just have infinitely superior stats if you get speed EVs and IVs it can become a BEAST.
Not only this but it means that you have to stick with an Eevee until level 40 ish when you finally get the mega stone, which basically means you don't have a starter for a surprising portion of the game. The inclusion of deltas adds more than enough variety, and while mega Eevee is a cool Pokémon it's basically just a kekleon with upps and downs because it can't be half of the types that are good like ghost, steel, dragon or ground. By the time you get mega Eevee, it's only good because it's the only mega you've got, but if you use any of the other 3 starters you'll see how giga broken some of the deltas and megas are in that game, and how mega Eevee gets outshone by literally everything, and as soon as you get basically any other mega you will replace it immediately.
Overall its a cheap gimmick that's fun and strong in theory but really doesn't work in practise. Also if you take Eevee as the starter it's physically impossible to complete the dex which is just the cherry on top on why taking Eevee as your starter is just cock and ball torture. I've used it several times, first playthrough in fact I evolved it into an umbreon so I couldn't use the mega, and then boxed it at like level 50 because the Pokémon I had by that point made umbreon redundant. In other playthroughs it's very easy to keep the delta starters the entire game and be happy with them because they excel at what they do.
@@Defnotdiablo Stats aren't everything, my guy. Being able to freely change between up to four pokemon with drastically different stat distributions and abilities(including some strong ones like magic bounce and water/volt absorb) depending on what moveset you want to use? That's incredibly strong, and well worth the wait.
Also, Insurgence's difficulty very easily allows you to be at level 40 shortly after the second gym. It's really not that big of a deal.
While picking the other starters is perfectly valid, Mega Eevee is most definitely among the best mons in the game.

I played insurgence about 5 years ago and it is one of the reasons why I love Pokémon to this day, but if I played it now I’d actually know type matchups better than I did before
Just played this last month again cause I was eager to do a Delta only run. It still is an amazing fan game after all these years. I used a balanced team for Torren and then used a Dark only New moon team for Holon. Spiritomb + Delta Roserade + Mega Delta Typhlosion + Delta Volcarona is just too good.

This was amazing! I love this game and your playthrough of it was so great. Some of these Megas and Deltas are so FIRE!! (Also it's funny that this game predates regional forms!) I would love to see the post-game because iirc I loved it, but I know it would be a big video.

I love delta Pokemon. I have one of the misprint delta mew promos from my childhood, but I gotta say. That delta Grimer is the coolest idea I've ever seen. I love it to death.

I actually played insurgence before playing most of the mainline games and yeah it was amazing I had so much fun even though I didn't know as much as I know about pokemon now. It was still a blast and the story was really fun.
So much better than literally anything past gen 4 maybe 5 and before 9. Idk a lot of people clown on 9 but I’ve loved it and I disliked 6-8 so much other than remakes (let’s go not included in good remakes of course) and I probably like gen 9 because imo the new gen Pokémon have been some of the coolest and most fun to play as well as Tera typing being the best new mechanic to happen to the game (so much better than mega evos and whatever the other dumb one was from gen 7 I think)

Nice video! Burning through the lines of dialogue was frustrating for me, I'm never going to play these somewhat obscure rom hacks so I watch these videos to vicariously experience the game and summarizing what happens isn't quite the same - just a friendly piece of feedback👌🏼
I think it's funny how he downplays the hiker and the sky cult when playing on the light version of the game, and not where they trap him and his family in a secluded tunnel to die

Played it till the champ but was way to underleveled than lost my data after I haven't touched it for years. It's great to see this game again
A couple of fun facts: Pokemon Insurgence has, if I remember right, two story modes; a tame version, and an "edgy" version. In the edgy version, the Cults tend to kill people. That opening segment where Persephone is summoning Darkrai for the first time (that we see, at least?) Sacrifices a cult member to do it, then murders another one in cold blood when they want to try again.
Those Sky Cultists that just drop the hiker in a hole? They collapse the hole and bury the dude, simply because he now knows they exist, and they try to keep that a secret. There are more such examples, too.
Also, that Primal Giratina? Its ability is "Omnitype", which means that, defensively, it is considered to be EVERY TYPE. Which means its only weakness is a regular rock weakness. And that Delta Volarona of Reukra's... isn't just a Delta Volcarona. It's an *armored* Delta Volcarona.
I would play this game everyday after school man this is soo nostalgic

seeing you nuzlocke that makes me wonder if other fangames are possible with nuzlockes, although some like Reborn and Rejuvenation I doubt it, at least not on their highest difficulties

I am doing currently a soul link hardcore nuzlocke(hard mode insurgence)with my friend,so far we are at our 3rd attemp(first 2 ended at the first starly) and we just defeated Anastasia

@@xx_squirtle8621 there’s difficulties if the game is to hard and the story is pretty dark for a kids game like seeing blood in a Pokémon game is pretty dark or trying to kill children you know what I mean
@@jhonnyfrancis4059 the game isn’t hard. It’s tedious. The AI is terrible, the Pokémon sets are even worse, and it’s easier than low ladder Pokémon showdown. The story is so childish in how it attempts to be “mature”, it’s ridiculous. It’s like the game was written by 13 year olds.

You can also purchase a Custom Move in the black market, it's a physical 70 power move of a chosen type and is nameable.

If you haven’t already, I fervently recommend playing Pokemon Uranium. It’s personally my favorite fan game, it’s very well made and the fakemon are really cool!

The deltas oddly resemble a lot of skins from a remake of the old game project pokemon known as project Polaro such as the snorlax,ha ours and others
