You play well for mid plat. I'd focus on utilising wall cover and beam range and at the same time understanding how to jump in to help front and escape (I noticed here and there you rez dps and just dip going waaay to the back of the team, leaving front completely alone when you could have just super jumped to the high ground or take wall cover). Focus on heal/dmg flicking and dmg boosting other heroes as well (like supports) helping them build ult faster and overall looking at who is doing most damage at given time. There are moments where dps is just hanging back not doing much, whilst moira/kiriko for example is nearly killing someone up front on enemy team. I noticed that a lot of mercys make sure to top everyone up to 100% - that is not a priority in fast pace fight, you can keep them above 50% and prioritise dmg boost because it's the only good thing aside from rez mercy got going on being the low tier sup. I know this isn't meant for me, but this genuinely helped me, as embarrassed as I am to say it. (°T^T) Specifically, the front-line part! I always struggle with diving into the middle of the fight and retreating back to the backline, thus abandoning teammates (which I hate doing), but hearing from someone else to simply play cover *where I currently am* is pretty helpful (I have no idea why I didn't incorporate it into my games from the start ( ・-・)).
@@ms.xinghua bless, this is what also distinguishes me from gm/t500 mercys, I don't know how to make calculated risks and escapes. I've been watching aquaboost and they just swoop in to heal/dmg and get away in a milisecond unharmed in the most chaotic, dangerous spots.
I recently reached Plat 5 with Mercy & Kiriko on open queue, but I’m trying to rank up to Plat on role queue. This is really fun and educational to watch since a lot of Mercy RUclipsrs are already in Masters/GM. I can see through your videos the pacing, decision making, ability usage, etc. in the rank I’m trying to reach ❤ The gameplay is also satisfying.
i’m glad my videos can help you! i get you with most Mercy youtubers being high ranked, you can learn a lot from them but you also get such different games from them- like for example you cant always rely on ur teammates to have good positioning or rely on ur other support to keep up with heals, so i think especially in lower ranks Mercy players need to adapt to whatever teams they have!! im still such a messy player and make a lot of mistakes tho 😭 as for twitch i do stream (not a lot- mostly once or twice a week) & i dont do vod reviews atm, but i used to spectate my viewers games! i haven’t done it in awhile but im thinking of doing it again soon once the season slows down if u want to send a replay code then (: i also have a lot of mercy mains in my community so we all can help out when we watch ur games!
