For a developer who could not make it I find the developer info you shared from the Live FlightSim Expo 2024 was very helpful. So thank you MSFS team!
Not a developer myself, but this was still a very interesting insight into the nuts and bolts of how the Market place functions. Looking forward to MSFS 2024.

bwhahaha... i had to laugh at Jorg saying "dialogue" , where this presentation was a "monologue" ... it was a good one though. Also, in the Saturday presentation, carenado got no handclapping... guess we like our bought aircraft to be updated? Dunno what other gripe there would be. Felt it was a bit harsch though, or did they pull something i'm not aware of?

Except they encrypted all the configuration files making it impossible to mod anything. So many had to repurchase content from the developers directly to get the latest versions and modify configuration files.
As expected a manual process that allows them to drip feed content 20 night light enhancements a week over months/years.
Even if the new SDK takes significant dev effort the same old finger pointing can begin with MS claiming they technically didn’t lie about compatibility and the 3P devs fairly wanting some compensation for QA and finding Asobo’s undocumented SDK changes or bugs - of course the customers suffer (both in possibly paying more and delayed development of new content), not the multi-billion dollar corporation.
when ms store can apply country specific price like steam?
Have there been any improvements with game updates? I would love it if my game could update in the background via Steam, so I don't have to wait for hours every time I start it after a while.

Love the Sim, was hoping a bit more information on cool things coming to the store for the consumer side. But very interesting in knowing how some of the nuts and bolts behind the store
The rating system seems rather useless. Need some degree of user reviews.
Upgrade price. On content we’ve already bought 😑 I know some work has to go into getting things ready for 2024 but this feels like a license to squeeze players for more money.
I would only justify upgrading if there is a big upgrade to the flight model with the new system

I see MS FS team are STILL, after 4 YEARS, ASLEEP!! @4:30 you show a graph, and the blue line shows W10! Are any of you aware that there's a 'new' OS out, called Windoze 11??? What a surprise that you can't even get that right - NOT! FS2020 is STILL a mess - did I say after FOUR YEARS! Every single 'update' causes MORE problems/issues, as did the recent Caribbean 'update'! I sent a MASSIVE amout of data to the 'development team' - TWO WEEKS AGO, for them to suss out what's going on, and have heard,,,, guess,,, NOTHING!! Another surprise? NO! MS and Asobo - you should be ashamed! The 3 new Bush Trips of that update, although I can see that they are installed, they do not show up in the Bush Trip menu! And the Dev Team don't know why!!!
At 13:05 you ask why more people are not buying - well here's an idea - because a LOT of it breaks the sim, that's why.
So, purchased content in 2020 will be able to be used n 2024 - BUT you've given all the devs the opportunity to add an 'Upgrade' price! REALLY?! Well guess what - THAT'S what all the content provider will be doing - Duh! So stop this BS saying we vcan still use our 2020 add-ons with no problems - sure! So, basically, all the 2020 content we have, we will really need to pay extra for it to work properly in the 2024 version!
Lets hope that they'll all wake up for FS2024 - but I for one am not hopeful.

Kinda ironic how her main metric for quality was the rating, which is extremely innacurate.
why aren’t weapons allowed on Xbox we’re not children and why is free ware only allowed on pc you are destroying this franchise and what it could have been MSFS Xbox is a scam
Ik. It sucks. I play msfs on Xbox, and it is so bad because you are very limited on hardware options. No free downloads. And plus, you cant download third party mods. Also no vatsim, such a scam. So limited in Xbox, I’ve been looking for pc’s. And on Xbox, sometimes it just randomly crashes. Also, pc users get planes before us Xbox users. I don’t even think the pmdg 777 is out on Xbox yet.
You ever thought flight simulation was never meant for console? It's so easy to make stuff for the pc version not so much xbox hence not much freeware. If you really care about flight simulation get a pc otherwise stick to defaults on Xbox. This why the 2024 version is coming packed with more stuff. You guys are holding us back on the pc version 😂😅
They said it would be the same on console when it launched 😂
So many people defended them too - but, but think of the base code with no add-ons! Also, think of how much Xbox zooming fighter jets (with no weapons) funds our elite PC experience! 😂
First it was we can’t have weapons to keep the E rating. When that was proven false - we can’t have weapons due to airliner agreements. The real reason is Jorg or someone high up doesn’t see it in their “vision” even though PC players are zooming around and making loads of videos with weapons.
I laughed when a community manager thought the spitfire canon fairing was a pitot tube and will laugh harder when the A-10 has a camera instead of the gau-8 and the b-17 comes with no .50s. 😂
Love how the "One More Thing" was just another useless statistics spreadsheet instead of a MARKETPLACE FREEWARE announcement we've been waiting for.
Looks like Microsoft's greed will continue instead of giving freeware developers more exposure.
