i just love the way he explains i think this channel needs more popularity... anyway thanks billy you helped me in learning korean the most i have been learning korean since 2 years but got to know about his channel just during this pandemic but damnn this is one of the best korean learning channel and everyone learning korean out there all the best it's way easy if you follow all the steps he tell + these partical thing are one of the most difficult thing to learn but you explained so well thanks a lot billy sonsengnim ❤️❤️🥺🥺 idk when will i be able to speak korean like him 😭😭 you are the best thanks billy and all the best to everyone learning korean❤️❤️
this video gets me to trace back in my memory of when i learned in the esl classroom. it's quite impressive to see his deep knowledge and approach to the teaching, and not that i snub him nor his effort, yet the easiest and the most effective way to get to grips with new language is going outside and grabbing your friends to talk to them with some feedback repeatedly, which i found was the fastest and the most effective in learning english, so that you could smoothly absorb the grammars without being annoyed by struggling to memorize them all.
I underestimate myself a lot. I just watched a teacher explaining a (Korean) intermediate grammar form..in Korean..and the fact that I could follow along surprised me
For all beginners, when I first started learning, I was like how will my brain know when its a consonant or a vowel lol But I see my self using the correct one automatically now. So don't worry about it
looking back at this lesson, it seems more difficult than it actually is lol but to be honest sometimes in korean they use the object marker, but since we translate it differently, not as an object sentence, to our language it confuses us. that's why we need to think in korean, and not translate it in our heads
I know these videos are 2 years old but may I suggest something? I think it would be really useful if you dropped or simply mentioned what the Korean equivale is. For example when you say transitive and intransitive, I know that we're mostly focusing on understanding the idea, but if you just mention the word's equivalent in Korean, it would be helpful. Thank you
Thank you this was very helpful! I only have one doubt left about the object marker.. I sometimes find it in the negative construct after -지 (-지를 않다 or shortened as -질 않다) maybe I'm wrong and that's not an object particle at all? If it is, what object is it marking?
I keep commenting and pausing the video. I noticed that recently. Ive been dying to understand Korean, and when I finally did, 99% of what they're saying are fillers. Only 1% is actually relevant lol and its exactly the same in English

Yeah I remember you mentioning that all passive verbs don't use object markers. I Don't remember the reason but now I see why lol

For Action Verbs only, ~지 않다 can also become ~지(를) 않다.
