If you crack a window or door even just a little it will help your draw problem and get started faster. It's a pressure difference thing. Been installing a lot of these little ones lately
I get around 5 hours of burn time, but the bricks in the stove stay hot a wile after the fire goes down. It’s a nice little stove for the cabin. Thanks for watching!
@@truenorthoffgrid367 thank you. I am very interested in this stove for my shed, but I need a lot more burn time than 5 hours. I'm hoping that with good hardwood and a low draft setting I can get at least 10 or 12 hours with some useful coals to restart in the morning. I wonder if using a damper in the pipe I'll be able to slow down combustion to get what I want.
I am considering the Drolet Spark II and the True North TN20. The TN20 firebox is .5 cubic foot larger but about 700$ more expensive. Our gouse is about 1600 sq ft. Whay are your thoughts?
The drolet wood stoves works well. They heat up quickly and hold the heat well. The larger fires box would help heat the larger area, so for me it would be worth the extra money.
Just through the air intake under the front of the stove, You can purchase an intake fan that goes with the stove, but since our cabin is so small we don’t really need it.

What a great piece of information, works very well, THNAKS!
Thanks for sharing, this one seems sort of small for 1200sq ft?
That’s what it’s rated for…. It gets quite hot and holds the heat very well. I could see it keeping 1200 sq ft warm. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the video. What length of burn do you get with the draft all the way down? Thanks

Hey great video, just wondering do you have a fresh air intake on that stove?

How much pipe do you have?
We have 10 foot of chimney pipe, plan is to extend it two more feet ( just haven’t got to it yet)
