Mark nailed Govan's solo...
I've been looking at all kinds of solo covers and see this comment on almost all of them. So I'm guessing that "nailed" has been a loose term; in this instance that more closely means "best approximation" because while all are decent, they always flub or completely get wrong one part or another along the run. All I can think of is how I'd never want to be in a structure where the carpenter "nailed it" hahaha
Never thought a Metal band vocalist using a microphone stand would look so cool! haha. Only Periphery can pull that off ;)

Misha playing that Blackmachine live is so wild to see, and does anybody know what neck pickup he's using? It sounds so similar to the Air Norton, nice and articulate in the mids, and it holds that really damn nice slappiness to the upper register

He dislocated his shoulder before the tour started. That's why they got Mike Malyan in to fill the position whilst he recovered.

You get a brief glimpse of him at the beginning and he often stands in for Matt. I could still be wrong... But check out some of Mike's videos (his band's called Monuments). Especially the jam Matt and Mike have playing 'Icarus Lives'.
