Also, we have to be aware and ask ourselves, “am I running from feelings? Can I sit with my feelings?” please remember that our brains can not access the intellectual benefits of treatment until it has fuel to function. The malnourishment of anorexia damages the brain as it metabolizes itself to execute executive functions. (Headaches are a symptom of this.) Our ability to process information becomes impaired. This is why nutritional rehabilitation is the primary focus of treatment for some time. Good luck and I hope that we can have an open dialog.

Hi beautiful lady, I feel like your intro can be triggering...completely focused on your thin, tone and athletic body. I'm not saying it isn't beautiful, but our constant focus on perfecting our exterior is not healthy for culture as a whole. I don't. Exercise is the problem, it is the focus on changing the form, not the strength or health of our bodies. Only you know your motives. You need to be honest with yourself.

Hello lovely! Thank you for taking the time to message. I'm hoping as I get more comfortable in front of the camera my explanations will become a bit better so I apologise if I am not as clear as I can be! This is one of the key factors that I am trying to both address and change on a universal basis. One of my main goals is to enhance the awareness of what both previous and current research has investigated in regards to anorexia, including the neurological relationship and what treatment plans are of most effect and what could be more advantageous. It is a very controversial topic and I fully respect peoples opinions on this. In regards to exercise in anorexia, I am not taking a sided approach with this, I do however feel strongly about addressing this issue particularly, as you have also expressed, that it is a problem absolutely amongst many sufferers and this is by no means a promotion of its utilization when we are not at the right stage to do so. There is however yet to be a solidified concept on the role exercise and the education in this area plays in treatment, but my intention regardless is not to promote the aesthetic changes, but rather the psychological benefits that could potentially be gained and whether they can or not my goal is to make that more clear. If anything, this is about bringing forward and discussing the previous and current scientifically based research that we have, and converting that into the most beneficial treatment for sufferers. I completely agree that nutritional improvements are most definitely important and absolutely necessary, but I do believe that neglect in other areas in treatment which may further contribute to cognitive function improvements, can be a hindrance to the longevity of recovery, health and treatment effect. As I briefly mention this is only a PART of the problem and my only intention is to explore what we have, discuss it and positively grow from it. Hopefully this will become a lot more clearer the more videos I do. I will be learning and growing along the wat also and this is why questions/ comments like yours are really constructive and important so I really do appreciate you taking the time to both watch and discuss your thoughts with me! An open dialog is all I ask for! I hope this has given a bit more perspective to where my intentions are.

@@charlottestuart291 I still don't feel like you understand the connection between fitspo, your intro, which feels like and the fatphobia our popular culture cultivates and washes over all of us. Mthis is a major contributor to the development of anorexia.
