Ask the Pastor - Episode Nine

Pastor Matt, Pastor Hugo, and one of our elders, Bill, sit down to address the following questions:
- Are we truly present with God upon our death as Christians?
- We had prophets before Jesus and apostles or disciples who were there at the time of Jesus. These were around the time the Bible was written. Why do you think we no longer have prophets to continue with the writing of the Bible?
- We are taught as Christian men, it is a sin to lust. Are we sinning if we lust after our wife?
- Is the perfect age when we go to Heaven "33," the age Jesus was when he died?
- What does the Bible say about parenting a special needs child?
- Are you a morning person or a night owl?
- Please share your response to the fall of mega-church leaders.
- In regards to Isaiah 3:12, is it biblical for a woman to lead over/have authority over men in any way outside the church?
Isaiah 3:12 (ESV): "My people--infants are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, your guides mislead you and they have swallowed up the course of your paths."
- Does unforgiveness disqualify you from worshiping and giving gifts to the Lord? (Matthew talks about leaving your gift at the altar and going to someone who has sinned against you, or you them.) What if you attempt to reconcile and the other person does not want to? Do you treat the believer the same as the unbeliever in these situations?
- Jesus says a good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children. If this is so, why does Scripture also say it's hard for a rich man to enter heaven?
