  • The defence for Ace Magashule's former personal assistant Moroadi Cholota says it's dismayed with the decision of the Bloemfontein Magistrate's Court to decline oral submissions in her bail application.
This after the state submitted that Cholota has no desire to stand trial and poses a flight risk. Cholota is one of the accused in the R255-million Free State asbestos roof removal scandal dating back to 2014.

l would also ask the same question. Was she scared of going home for what reason? Sometimes we can make for ourselves unnecessary problems. It is a pity .Is it not dangerous for her when she is outside?

@@petracollins8623 Ofcourse . Maybe is their way of working in USA and we cannot tell them how to work. Can be possible her name was already by the Interpol and they maybe wanted to inform South Africa that could be possible why they kept her in detention.I don't know.

It's a disturbing trend that lawyers see nothing wrong with taking their arguments outside of a Court of law. What will happen when they become judges? I foresee a danger to our jurisprudence!

Cholota case its similar to Nandipha magudumane they have no right of any thing. They never volunteer to come back to the country at all they were forced by inter poll

I think some of us black people we lack information big time. Cholota decided to go to America but claiming to study and obtain bursary for education illegally. She never qualified for that bursary. When she was asked to come back to S A to testified she declined , went to court in America refusing to comply with law enforcement, courts in South Africa. Her visa expired in America they never renewed it because she was a student. Now she’s back in S A and claim to be not involved in this case. In law it doesn’t work like that also she what’s a bail of R2.500 she’s crazy. She was forced to come back to S A by inter pol she never volunteer to come back. That’s why the state can oppose her bail they have a right. Her self she’s got no right of any other being because she’s a flight risk full stop. Us as blacks we think courts are a play ground but not at all we need to learn and have information lawyers will tell you all sorts of lies there after your money that’s all they want they don’t care about you.

Thrz no such thing as "she doesn't have a right to anything" no matter the crime she committed no matter how CRC the case is she has rights n her right to ask Fr bail is her right
And there are loopholes within the justice system tht she can exploit you will see as the trail progresess it's the same loopholes tht Jacob Zuma's lawyers continue to exploit till this day same loopholes tht Ace magashule will exploit even that former defence minister who has a case pending

What sort of lies will lawyers tell you? You seem to be misinformed. Everybody has a right in SA, including convicted inmates. Arrested people are regarded as innocent unless proven guilty.
