- Hey Curlfriends! We did it again! Partnered again with Creme of Nature and created this beautiful blonde at home! I wanted to have some dimension, so I went with all 3 blondes from the Exotic Shine Color with Argan Oil from Morocco line. My curls were left moisturized and protected by the Argan Oil infused in this color. To keep my curls healthy, I must make sure I'm consistent with my weekly deep treatments. It is just as important before you color as it is after. Let me know what you think!? Comment if you've tried Creme of Nature or what colors you will try next!

Yess! I loved my red but it doesn't last as long without having to refresh it. I had no idea. I try to go at least 6 months in between color touch ups. This time I waited a whole year.

This is my favourite of all the tutorials/demonstrations. I also have ashy undertone hair, fine strands and a lot of hair! We also share in the philosophy that the root should be darker than the ends to avoid the stark contrast with root regrowth. Anyways this is going to be my go to tutorial! So informative! Thank you!

I love your color. I did the honey blonde for the first time and I don't like the color. I actually want more of a lighter blonde. So i'm gonna try it again with a honey blonde exotic that looks lighter than the moisture rich one and hopefully i'll get more of a lighter color that i'm looking for.

I tried this. I didn’t get the highlight affect i was looking for but the color turned out really pretty. My hair was already honey blonde so that may be why. My roots were my natural dark brown color. Never thought to use honey blonde to lighten them. I hate having hot roots so this was perfect for me

You should not have to bleach beforehand. I would recommend doing a strand test before. I did this when I went ginger when I wasn't sure if I was using the lightening packet that came with the blonde when mixing with another color. If it wasn't for the strand test, I would've made the wrong choice.

@@JasColoredCurls Question. I have virgin hair now because I shaved my hair. I want to color it something kind of coppery with blond highlights. Will I have to bleach it to do that? My hair it's dark brown.
I don't think so. I would suggest during your hair the copper color and then a week later go back and do the highlights. My highlights were done professionally a year ago, I just made them brighter with the different blondes. She died my hair an Ash brown and then after washing that out and blow drying my hair she did the highlights. So if you don't want to do all that in one session, I've heard of people splitting it up. Just asking are you low or high porosity hair cause when i get color it always break off. Can you please do your routine to keep its moisturized and maintaining the color
Last time I tested I was normal porosity. But I plan on doing a video about how I maintain healthy color.

I have red hair right now and i usually get root touchups every 6 months and color doesnt fade much just red slightly darker and my roots are their natural color so dark brown from growth and my hair is completely natural and curly but how long does the blonde last in your hair I'm so curious I've been waiting to get out my comfort zone of red and try another color 😍it's gorgeous on you!
When I was blonde years ago, I would only touch up my roots every 6 months. It lasts for me as long as I keep it. I eventually governed it with swarm brown but it still eventually became a honey blonde until I grew it completely out and went red.

I honestly can't remember. But I think I only used 3 boxes. But I had extra boxes on deck just in case. Always want to have extra.
Before you were ginger/red .... did the color fade into a brown and then you dyed it with these colors or did you have to color remove the red first ? I’m trying to achieve this too but I have a hint of red in my hair 😭 and I’m afraid it will turn orange and not blonde
I haven't been red since last year. I went to a salon and she covered my whole head in Ash brown and gave me highlights. This is a year later as that color has grown out. But when I was red my color did fade to a brown color. You can see the color transformation on my Instagram from the old red to the color I had before this. I posted it there.

im gonna try this I have a question when you said alternate between the two blondes do you mean just some pieces use one blonde than grab another section of hair and use the second blonde? Or do you mean use both blondes on one section at a time ?

I have a question...does my hair have to be clean when I dye it?
Yes. It's always best to wash your hair at least 24 hours before dyeing it. I usually do 2 days. You want your cuticles to be clean and free of product so thar your color fully takes.
I love the color but wanted to know if the booster powder came with the honey blonde or is this something that is sold separately?
The booster packet will come with the blondes that are lighter. And Yes it will come in the box.
in my hair now i have a slight red but have naturally very dark brown hair so its a mix between red and that but i definitely want to do this could i dye it straight ontop of the redish colour or would i have to get rid of the red ?
I was red before going to a stylist and she put an ash brown over it and went in with balayage highlights. There's a video on my instagram how she did it. A year later is when I did this color. So I'm not sure how this would go over the red. You could always try a strand test. I did 3 different strand tests when I dyed my hair ginger just to be sure. Sorry for the late reply!
What happens if you leave the conditioner in without washing at all?
Not recommended. Your style will be weighed down. They have leave in conditioners that are better for that.

No it is not.
Can I use this on pink hair to turn blonde?
I'm not sure how that would work. I've seen people remove pink and then they are left with blonde underneath. I think it would be based on how you achieved the pink yo start with.
Is there a video on how her hair was coloured before she went fully blonde

Creme of Nature has a Plex Breakage Defense system (the shampoo that I used in this video is a part of it) there's a link in the description of this video. Remove direct heat from your routine for at least 90 days and deep condition your hair weekly. You can do it safely! Consult with a colorist who also specializes in healthy natural hair if you are afraid to do it yourself.

The colour suits your skintone but it is not blonde. In the UK we call this colour Ginger. If you wanted to be blonde you should have used bleach. Only bleach will lift the hair enough to get through the red shades.
That's funny. When I actually was ginger it was a lot more red than this but to each his own. Thank you! I think I'm gonna go ash blonde next.

@@JasColoredCurls I am mixed race and my hair is identical to yours but a lot longer. I started with jet black hair which i used a colour remover on to get the base colour down to a hideous browny-red 🤣 and went to the Salon to have it bleached down, which pulled up a deep yellow. 3 months of tlc and went back again for the final bleaching and it is now a beautiful creamy light blonde in great condition with all my curls intact. I use Cantu conditioner and follow up with Chi Silk Infusion and then Mixed Chicks Leave in Conditioner. I use a dollop of Sof n Free curl lotion to moisturise when needed. In my humble opinion I think a light creamy blonde will suit you better than the Ashy tones. xx
