This! I am playing this challenge atm. And I randomized the traits and the aspirations and the job. Turned out pretty hard tbh. I got the extreme sports enthusiast aspirations. And just reaching the top of Mt. Komorebi is hard work. Getting the skill or rocket climbing is a hard one as well. As a job I got the salary person one so she’s pretty much at work all day long and barely has time for anything. As extra fun I added a toddler as well

fun fact: sims are either left handed or right handed, the game picks at random. in this save stanley is left handed, you can see this when he is painting for example, or doing other things - he’s using his left hand.
@@andymorris8632 I do wish you could change in cas too, but if you have MC Command mod, you can pick which hand is your sims dominant. I like to remove the automatic trait they give you first, then set which hand I want my sim to have. Did that make any sense 😂😂 if not I’d be happy to explain further
I noticed that when I realised my own selfSim was left handed! Considering that I am IRL too, but couldn't choose that in CAS, it's a lovely coincidence. :D
You can do that, jist download her gallery save of his sim and place him in a household. When you go places he might show up, more likely if you place him in the same world as you want to meet him in.
note- with masterpieces, you’re more likely to get a masterpiece when you do the same type over and over again. so if your sim paints classical paintings the most, then they’re more likely to paint a classical masterpiece then, say, a pop art masterpiece. so it’s really best for you to paint the same types over and over again :)
I had someone complete the grilled cheese aspiration before they started painting, so they painted grilled cheese painting after grilled cheese painting, and soon he was producing grilled cheese masterpieces.
@@Supergirl9909 You want the water proof and storm chaser ones. No more complaining about humidity and, instead of being afraid during a thunder storm, your Sim gets happy about it.
And I know from experience doing EITHER of those (biking in the rain/biking while wearing a long skirt) is a bad idea (in my case it wasn't even a skirt; it was slightly floppy pant legs!) Only in the Sims. :P
I tried this scenario with Stanley and the micro home too. Stanley ended up being a celebrity painter and he married Johnny Zest 😆 (Once I finished the scenario, I cheated his celebrity status so he could have a star and a glow because I wanted the other Sims in my save to recognize him as the legend that he is.)
Can we please talk about the fact that Stanley literally painted Kayla at the beginning there??? Same hair color, same shirt color. Stanley knows all. He sees all.
I wish the Sims team had put a difficulty selector on these scenarios the scenarios are way too easy for people who are not newbies and have been playing the Sims 4 for a very long time
The best way to get the emotional paintings is to start them and drag them to the wall. That way you can more easily start all 3 while your sim has the emotion, and then you just drag them back onto the easel to finish them off
13:16 so, i dont think everyone knows about this, but if your sim gets sad (like if someone died) you can go on your sim's cellphone, go on the "social" icon and call the sad hotline or something like that. depending on how sad your sim is, you can call it like 3 times and they arent sad anymore. plus, it increases their social needs!
Since you're only supposed to have one Sim to start with, then you wouldn't have spouses (until you'd made friends with them anyway) or the like. I found it easiest to just start out by making friends with the "welcoming committee" and people they meet off the street. (And in a tiny house, it's easy to make friends, as long as you don't get off to a bad start.) I don't usually work on my Sims getting friends (except children trying to finish the Social aspiration or for doing the "get to know your coworkers" for some of the jobs like acting.) If it's not expedient to have a friend, I don't usually bother. Still, my Sims usually end up with 5 friends at least anyway (which is better for parties.) I think that as we get more scenarios, they will improve them and expand them. I would imagine that in the future there will be ways of making them more difficult, although a saavy Simmer can make them more difficult anyway. It's like when I was in middle school and was annoyed that our "put these vocabulary words into a sentence" was too easy to the point of sheer boredom, I not only would use the word in a sentence, but the word had to have something to do with my favorite TV show at the time. This made it less onerous for me to do, but also amused my teacher. For Simmers, they can choose more difficult aspirations, they can play on short lifespan, they can forbid themselves to use any sort of cheat and many other things. I do wish that they had added to the rewards to make it more interesting. One idea that I saw (which I would never use because it's not my style of play) was adding rewards that instead of making the Sim's life more pleasant or easier, they made it more difficult. (I didn't see any suggestions for that, but I found the basic idea intriguing.)
I played this with all 12 Lot Challenges because it is too easy. Hahaha! I finally completed it after 45 Sim days and 2 Potions of Youth. But it was legit fun! Hope to see Stanley trying the 12 Lot Challenges!
Love all the things you put Stanley through LOL. I was able to complete this in 7 game days with Cooking, painting, and fitness. Bodybuilding as my aspiration. Also used your tiny home layout, works perfect for this challange.
Maybe, but why is the "finding love after a breakup" a permanent one instead of the more common challenges we actually play? It seems like a weirdly specific one to keep if they're going to have a max of three
i'm not a game developer so i might be wrong, but i did major in computer science and as far as i know having all the scenarios at once wouldn't affect the cpu. like it would only be a problem if it was somehow _loading_ all the scenarios up at once but that's not the case, the scenario only loads when you start it. it really doesn't make sense why they haven't listed all of them.
@@rea_keebz Yeah, I can't see how that would affect the CPU in any way. Things that WOULD affect the CPU would be more like: lots of Sims, lots of objects, having the graphics settings up high...
When they paint a lot, they get that mindful thing when you can surge emotion. (I havent seen the entire video yet but that helped me A Lot) Edit: She used it in the video less than a min after I posted my comment lol)
Personally I like the easy challenges. I’m a casual player. I give up on a lot of the community challenges because they take too long and I get tired of them, or I play it all day and never again for three weeks and by that time I don’t want to go back to the same challenge

Stanleys ways are bit more extreme that those, what with literaly making his house from scratch every time he tries a new "get rich quick" scheme. But all things considered, that would problaby make him even more popular in the TikToksim comunity. Though i cant imagine how a thing like TikTok would work in a wolrd as fast as the Sims one. Definitely. The Microhome bonuses are ridiculously good when combined with the lot traits (if you play a Sim you've had since they were a toddler and gave them good reward traits, using all of that, you can literally max a single skill within a Sim hour or two.) If you played on short life-span with an elder, without any of that, it'd be a real race to the finish line!
I haven't tried any of the Scenarios yet. They look fun from watching you and other Simmers play them but I been too focus on the Not So Berry Challenge lately. I'm almost done completing the 4th Generation!
Here are some cool house ideas that I haven't seen or not seen much made and I think you would do really well at making -a crazy cat lady house. Like,normal looking house but when you go in that house looks like it caters too the cats and anything and everything in the home has a cat on it. Andlots of nice nacks. You know the kinda person I'm referring too -the "muffin man's" house.. you know the one on drooly ln. Lol - a readjusting gingerbread house - Santa clauses house. You could put it in mt. Koberabi or how ever you spell it on top of the mtn and say it's the north. pole. - a equarium - a pet store where you could buy your pets and pet appliances , toys,ect. -
Nice playthrough! Somebody actually did an experiment where they did several hundreds of each painting type at max skill level and ran the stats; impressionist paintings produced the most masterpieces but were, at the same time, the lowest sellers. As for myself, I would have picked gourmet cooking over fishing; like cooking, you get jumps in skill for completing a dish, plus it has the fastest dish to make: the Caprese salad at level 1; it is so fast that you can put down a good number of salads in the time it would take to make an advanced dish, and with the jumps in skill per dish, you end up leveling faster. The BLT and faux BLT at level 2 in standard cooking are almost as fast, with similar results, and since all three dishes are low level they almost always are excellent quality (if inspired), and none of them require a stove.
I think it would be fun if you could do more than one challenge at once and add a time limit to each, like making money and perfectly well rounded at the same time and they both have the same time limit. Beautiful chaos.
Stanley is such fun to watch! I am actually using this scenario to kick-start a "Super Sim Challenge" sim. My "Perfectly Well-Rounded" sim is working on Writing, Painting, and Cooking (eventually also Parenting, but only 3 skills are needed for the scenario, of course.) She's just gotten pregnant with Father Winter's baby, so the child will have the special trait that gives 50% increased satisfaction from Whims. (I actually enjoy whims...I know many players do not.) Then that child will go on to work through the full, crazy long Super Sim challenge in that file. If I hadn't seen an opportunity to connect this scenario to that challenge, I don't think I would have undertaken the Well-Rounded thing, as it's a bit simple...but it works well for me in this context. (I got tired of having so many saves, so I thought I'd just start doing everything new introduced into the game on one Sim/in one save and pare my active files down to that plus my legacy.)
The chances of getting masterpiece paintings depreciates the more a sim paints in the same style over and over, it actually says so in a notification. I saw it happen in James Turner's super sim challenge
Kayla, there is something you HAVE to do. In any save, get a fish. Give it a nice tank, do whatever you want with it, but you HAVE to name it ‘Lil Swimsie. You simply must.
One kinda cheaty tip: you can start a painting, say you wanted a emotional painting, then you take if off the canvas and place it somewhere in your house. Then you can keep doing this and then all you have to do to finish then is put the paintings back on and keep on painting 👏🏻❤️
it took me 14 ingame days to do it! it was so fun tbh. i saw your build for this challenge yesterday and it made me wanna play the challenge myself. so glad i did, i havent played the sims in a while and this challenge made me come back. ended up only taking about an hour to complete but continued playing for 8 more hours lmao

As for myself, I would have picked gourmet cooking over fishing; like cooking, you get jumps in skill for completing a dish, plus it has the fastest dish to make: the Caprese salad at level 1; it is so fast that you can put down a good number of salads in the time it would take to make an advanced dish, and with the jumps in skill per dish, you end up leveling faster. The BLT and faux BLT at level 2 in standard cooking are almost as fast, with similar results, and since all three dishes are low level they almost always are excellent quality (if inspired), and none of them require a stove.

I think it would be fun if you could do more than one challenge at once and add a time limit to each, like making money and perfectly well rounded at the same time and they both have the same time limit. Beautiful chaos.
Stanley is such fun to watch! I am actually using this scenario to kick-start a "Super Sim Challenge" sim. My "Perfectly Well-Rounded" sim is working on Writing, Painting, and Cooking (eventually also Parenting, but only 3 skills are needed for the scenario, of course.) She's just gotten pregnant with Father Winter's baby, so the child will have the special trait that gives 50% increased satisfaction from Whims. (I actually enjoy whims...I know many players do not.) Then that child will go on to work through the full, crazy long Super Sim challenge in that file. If I hadn't seen an opportunity to connect this scenario to that challenge, I don't think I would have undertaken the Well-Rounded thing, as it's a bit simple...but it works well for me in this context. (I got tired of having so many saves, so I thought I'd just start doing everything new introduced into the game on one Sim/in one save and pare my active files down to that plus my legacy.)

It took me 37 days with the Renaissance Sim aspiration. She's one of my best sims I've ever had. I loved this scenario.

One kinda cheaty tip: you can start a painting, say you wanted a emotional painting, then you take if off the canvas and place it somewhere in your house. Then you can keep doing this and then all you have to do to finish then is put the paintings back on and keep on painting 👏🏻❤️

it took me 14 ingame days to do it! it was so fun tbh. i saw your build for this challenge yesterday and it made me wanna play the challenge myself. so glad i did, i havent played the sims in a while and this challenge made me come back. ended up only taking about an hour to complete but continued playing for 8 more hours lmao
