I enjoyed your great interview on living in Baja. The peso value skyrocketing scares me. As my SS is not increasing. I would Love an update on your newest home. Thank you ❤️
Thanks so much Spirit4joy, I'm glad you're enjoying the content! An update about my latest home is on the way, in the next week or two, thanks for asking, please stay tuned! 💕
Thanks for sharing! This was really good insight into buying land as a foreigner. We haven't seen a land/home tour after the renovations! You should do one of those next! Your place looks so nice! Where in Baja are these lots for sale? What are the price points? Thanks so much!
Thanks for tuning in Julio, glad you're enjoying the videos! I actually give a bit of a tour of the finished property & home in this video here. ruclips.net/video/9cX4qTD5WiU/видео.html&ab_channel=BlueSkySanctuary. I'm an hour north of Cabo, but there is land for sale in pretty much every price point all over the Baja, from $15 000 - $15 000 000! The lowest price point won't have power or water nearby, so that's something to consider.
@@BlueSkySanctuaryBaja Thanks for sharing that link, I really enjoyed that video! It was so much work, I'm sure you're really happy its done. Maybe in 2023 you can share a new house tour, as I'm sure you've settled a little more into the house now that the construction is done :). I was so shocked at some of the prices! I was expecting much more expensive lots! I found some 30 minutes from La Paz for as cheap as 5K USD (ejidal rustic). I think those are very solid options, especially if you do solar panels and have a cistern for water. Makes me want to buy over there now!
@@julioalvarez2836 So glad you're enjoying the channel 😊 As I shared in my second most recent video, I actually sold my property & home & am now on a new property getting ready to build again. Lots of footage to come! Yes there are some incredibly inexpensive properties to be found here for sure.
@@smadden3933 This would be through facebook marketplace, not any websites. You'll have to find the seller/owners themselves and not a third party to get the cheap land!
New subscribers here 👋🏽 Thank you for sharing your knowledge & journey. I can’t wait to move & purchase land/property in Mexico 🇲🇽 What is your attorney’s information? I’m interested in the Baja area
Hi there! Thank you for subscribing, glad you're enjoying the content. You're welcome to email me for more info, my address is in the details of the video.
I will buy a house in La Paz and am planing to drive my car loaded with stuff from BC (like you) over there before I even get the title, due to time limits. Is this feasible or will I be stopped at the border? Please advise me on what would be the best way to go about within 3 week time available. Thank you!!!
No one can predict with certainty whether or not you'll be stopped at the border. When I came down 5 or so years ago I didn't own property at all. I was told in advance that I would be stopped & likely turned around at the border because I didn't have 'ties & bonds' to Canada, but I went for it anyway. I wasn't turned around, and the rest is history. I offer coaching/consulting if you need/want more info email me.
I'm not sure that there are different kinds of deeds here in Mexico. At closing you'll receive a number of different documents, and collectively that's referred to as your 'Escritura,' which is probably the closest thing to a Deed.
It would be clearer if you didn’t use the term property because it is a general term and could include cost of land and the cost of building the house. Best to distinguish between the cost of the “lot” and the cost to build the “house”. When you say Property the listener will assume your total cost to build includes land and house.
Thanks for your feedback but I'm not confident that replacing the word property with the word lot would really clarify things. A listener simply has to watch the video and not make assumptions. In fact, if I were to call the video 'Buying a lot in Mexico' people might wonder 'a lot of what?' 😆I break down costs & values very, very clearly within the video.
@@BlueSkySanctuaryBaja A Lot and a House is considered a property. So when you say your property cost $20, 000 that means house and lot/ land. I won’t explain this any further if you don’t get.

Even ran across it in Mexico. Veda - I've been finding the prices (realtor) crazy on the Pacific Coast, north of Puerto Vallarta and looking as far north as San Blas at this point. La Penita is amazing as is Lo de Marcos, but $$$$$$$$. I'm told San Blas and north has too many mosquitoes and bugs. If you look at the terrain on Google maps, it might make sense. I think the realtors drive up the prices as much as us gringos. I have a very nice guy I would like to work with, but he's not coming up with anything in the reasonable price ranges. I think they are aiming for the big spenders and quick turn arounds. I detect over-growth in Mazatlan and ridiculous asking prices. I wonder if this BOOM will slow down due to our "soft landing" or alleged recession. I like the idea of facebook and marketplace, but some of these little pueblos are really small. I spent 6 months in Mex (Mazatlan) and fell in love but only had a few solid weeks to really look, down the coast. I am thinking it may be necessary to move back there and rent during the HOT season and see if sellers heels are cooled off a bit. That is a lot of info in a short space. Mr Jc tr4 - try to have a pleasant day. THANKS VEDA!!! - Rich

Lawyers are going to love this video.......Real Estate Agents.....not so much😄
Haha I know this wasn't exactly an endorsement for Real Estate Agents but they'll continue to do great down here regardless, lol.
Great tips! I might have to get that lawyer's name.
Happy to hook you up LL, pm me when you're ready ;)
What area of Baja Mexico you refer to in this Video ?
