Then I am dragging the sidebar into the third column. Now I am trying to choose the option for the sidebar "choose sidebar". And I can't. I don't have options I see on your video. Instead, I see the message: "no sidebars were found". So it looks like the widget I dragged into the column is not a sidebar, but some kind of sidebar holder and I need to get sidebars somewhere else. Where? I have Elementor Pro. One more thing. I use the Hello theme. Am I assuming correctly that as a "blank" theme it does not have predesigned sidebars available? If so, is there a way to create a sidebar? Thanks for helping out!

Actually its so interesting to me since As German Netherlands is understandable and might make more sense than me learning Spanish, Arabic, Russian, Chinese and all my other dear languages. But somehow I didnt get the best start-ups with netherlands so I never really started far into learning. And your voice is really relaxing to listen to, so that would fit perfectly. And as I said, I dont need a special learning video fo language, I generally prefer listening in a new language about an interesting topic even if it means İ need to repeat the video again and again.

Hey Ferdy. I am having trouble with creating a blog archive page WITH a sidebar. I use elementor AND Astra, and i always get mixed up about which to do first - and which overrides what - Astra or Elementor or WP. Very confusing to me.

I am sure this is a greate video. BUt the problem with many of the videos I watch on the "how to doooos" is everyone thinks that speaking 400 words a minute is great. But it's not. So what am i saying? S p e a k s l o w e r and those of us who don't want to download the video and replay it at 1/3 speed on the VLC player can understand what you are saying and doing. Thanks

@@ferdykorpershoek sure, as i mentioned 'logic' of creating sidebar is missing.. customization is one thing which everyone can do which is familiar with ele. My query is kindly let me know or your audience as to how a sidebar is created logically. Like in my case, i created a page with ele (which you didn't tell in your video) and dropped the sidebar element. Selected the sidebar area(in astra it is woocommerce widget area). Then i went to widgets and selected the required widgets(in my case there are filters for the product archives). But nothing shows up. What thing can possibly be wrong which i am doing. Hope it conveys my query. Great thanks in advance.
yeah, that didn't help at all. You might try going a little slower and maybe try to explain to people who are still learning instead of assuming we're all just going to know what you're doing.

Hi John! The noun form of opaque is opacity. Using the word opacity in a search can help you find something with this function. Good luck!

I am not sure about sidebar but the navigation bar is a pro feature. You need to get the paid version for it.

You can go to Astra/Customise/Layout/Sidebar to configure the settings of the sidebar.

Widgets are a function of the theme, not elementor. Try this with Elementors new Hello theme.
