I'm a big fan of Envato. I used their products for many projects. BTW, all you have to do at the beginning is go into edit with Elementor and choose "Elementor canvas", it will get rid of all the default Wordpress crap like title, headers etc.

Hey Ferdy, how did you make your logo? Photoshop? I know you made a video about making a free logo on some website. But it can't be transparent and that's an issue on dark background. Plus it's not totally personalized. I would be interested in a logo creation tutorial in Photoshop or any image software. Both about the technical question and the artistic question. How to choose the good color(s) and shapes for it, for instance. And how to actually make it for Photoshop (or Gimp) noobs. Also, a tutorial about how to choose the good colors and elements for a website could be interesting. Although I know how to use Elementor, I have no idea how to make a website look good, unless I use a pre-made template. That is if you have enough skills in these domains of courses. Thanks for all your great videos anyway! 🙂
Thanks Ferdy for your instructions. Envato has lots of great templates to use...BUT...none that I tried were SSL secure. I'm new to web design but I know the value of having a little padlock symbol within the address bar. Both Firefox and Chrome complained that something was not right whenever I used Envato as a starting point. It's probably something small within the code but I'll not be using Envato source pages. I'll just be using Envato as a great resource of inspiration. Thanks Ferdy.
Hi Ade, the SSL is not something you do to a template, it is a certificate you add on the web host. It doesn't have anything to do with the actual web design. If you want SSL certificate you must ask your hosting provider for it, it may cost some extra money or may be they'll give it for free. Another way is to create a free SSL certificate on websites like ZeroSsl, but I would recommend the first option. Have a nice day mate.

Hi there, I have a question. After following all the steps I'm stuck. A bit of background - I have an existing website and I want to change the theme and layout. I downloaded Envato and found the appropriate template kit etc. The steps weren't exactly as shown in your video. AnywayI edited the a few of the pages in the kits with all the information from my website. its all saved in the Template section I'm unable to figure out how to swap the current homepage with the new homepage created using envato template kits. I hope this makes sense. Some help will be amazing.
