all it takes is a weekly 3-5 minute video of you netting/ bucket inspecting the koi fry for defects and changes and I'll keep coming back. Interesting project you've got going, please keep the updates regular
Mate i love your vids, i also keep koi in the UK. went to cuttlebrook in the summer and it was a great experience. After months of searching i also found a chagoi utsuri which im veryhappy about. Your koi look really nice especially the big yamabuki Keep it up mate
Thank you I really appreciate it. Definitely cuttlebrook is an amazing farm enjoyed going there recently which I posted on the channel. I’ve been looking to get a nice chagrin as well hope yours does well 👍
I have to say, you’re doing a nice job containing all the string algae on your pool pond/ above ground pond. Been seeing many pool ponds/ ponds full of string algae to the point where the pond looks very dirty
@@UkKoiFish Im only concerned because having an above ground pond/ pool pond thats filled with string algae on the floor and wall, the pond will look horrible in my opinion and it makes the water look very dirty. But im glad that you found a solution.
@@jamthelion707 it’s just about maintaining chemical balances in the water to prevent there from being enough nutrients for the algae to grow. Also introducing less “ugly” algae into the pond that will outcompete it works well as long as that algae is easy to control. Also using a uv filter helps kill alot of it
Hi sorry I’ve just had a lot of other things to do and deal with recently. And on top of this there’s really not been a lot to make videos on during the winter months as the fish are inactive. I’ll try to make some this week for you 👍
I love watching your videos keep up the good work

Thank you I appreciate it

Thank you I’d had issues with this in old setups so I got to work on preventing it from when I frost made the ponds and it seems to be working
@@UkKoiFish what did you do to prevent it?
