Really easy. We have a local guy that dropped it in the yard for 1900 including delivery and tax. They are cheap up here in PA. They are closer to 4000 delivered in WV, so its actually cheaper for me to buy up here and haul it down.
I appreciate it. Those might be a little expensive for my build. I am converting this trans to the snap-in style axles as it currently has the stub shafts. I will make the flange and stub one piece and hope it will be strong enough.
@@spankranchgarage I thought about this also to try and get a little better axle angle by having the drive flanges closer to the trans case. Mine is stub axles with slip on drive flanges. They weigh a ton even after milling off as much material as i felt comfortable with. I have some subaru pop in stub axles that might working to machine and weld on the 930 flange. Seems similar to your idea.
That's exactly my thoughts too. We want the trans flanges as narrow as possible. I have some snap in axles to sacrifice and weld flanges to. Ill let you know how it goes ill probably make a video about it
