Nice review, thank you. I used to lust over the Skyland something awful, but also wanted a Datejust and had no funds for both. This comes real close to that look, but with brush instead of polish, and sticks instead of arabics. Wow, looks like I've been out of the loop: they have one with a B01 movement. Glad they're keeping the Avenger series alive.🙂👍
This brand does it right with the waiting list funny games (rolex/tudor). Personally would like to see non-polished Avengers at 40/41mm but let's see what they will bring.
They do lose money but its not ridiculous. Plenty of money will still be in the watch to sell on. Try to buy limited edition models which help as do prescious metals on the Breitlings. Only certain brands outperform RRP, Rolex being the obvious example but then that world is nuts and you'd be nuts to buy at those prices, when you could have a Breitling equally as well made.
@@philc1773 hi there thanks for the reply , just wondering is it worth buying a preowned 1 ? Also what limited editions would you recommend as I want a nice chunky 1 and want to spend around £3.5k Uk , thanks 😊
@@jokerr1391 It is definitely. Original box, papers and swing tag if you can get it too are a must. Keep them safe, should you wish to sell on. Options wise, £3500 gets you into Chronomat, Avenger, Navitimer and superocean heritage. All have a chronograph, plus 300m 1000ft dive watches but go for bracelet on all would be my recommendation not strap. Movement likely to be caliber B13, very reliable cosc movement but if you see a b01 movement get that, it's superior to the b13. As for models: Chronomat A13356 (Red Arrows or the PAN Frecce Tricolori limited models ) or maybe b01 movement Ab0141 41 mm limited edition black or blue dial preferably for value. Avenger A13381 and A13371 super avengers can be had for this money but they are massive! 43mm lug to lug is big enough for me. Superocean A13320 Navi A24322 Hope that helps.
@@jokerr1391 I should also mention, if it was my money, I'd be spending it on the Chronomat Evo A13356 red Arrows, box and papers, if I could. The watch saved Breitling has the icon bezel and the price is only going one way, you won't lose on a used model if well cared for.
I do own this watch with a steel bracelet. It’s a beast but very durable and looks great. Love this watch personally. Great job Breitling.
I definitely agree in regards to the caseback. I would have loved a deeply stamped wings logo.

Love my one in 43mm. Really a very nice built watch😊
Lol, I remember those ads. Seems like Breitling's popularity has went down since those days. The Avenger is one of my favorites.
Nice review Don. I love the avenger models as well.
Nice badass Breitling!
Do these watches hold there value ? Thanks 😊
It can vary depending on the model, but at full retail price, compared to preowned selling price, they do lose some money.

The caseback could have been better. Oh well, it isn’t as lame as a Rolex caseback!
Vraiment une superbe montre ! TOP +++++
🥰🥰🥰
Too big for me
