This is the first song my daughter ever heard. We played it for her in the hospital, and on the drive home. This has been her lullaby, the song that calms her when nothing else can. I know you aren't really uploading here anymore, but please--never delete the music here. You never know how much this means to people. A four year old is learning to sing with this very song, and your voice. Sometimes I hear her in her room, when she's trying to help herself fall asleep, singing: "I don't mind, if you're with me, then everything's alright"

i've played undertale, my brother has played to the moon, neither of us has played the other. Honestly i suspect we are both missing out on fantastic games.
To The Moon is fucking emotional, the game made me cry, it's the only thing in all of entertainment media that has ever done that, I'm not one who's very emotional so you can take my word for it there. I can't even sing along to this song cus I'll start tearing up, I'm left a total wreck.
I recently played the game To The Moon for the first time, and it moved me to the point that it has become one of my favorite narratives! I had already heard and loved this piece by Laura Shigihara prior to playing, but after actually experiencing the context it was written for, it's become about a hundred times more beautiful to me. I really wanted to pay a short tribute to the game and its music, so I hope you enjoy it - and that you get a chance to play the game someday if you haven't already!
I love this song and game so much! And when i saw this i was totally moved by the fact that you did this! To the moon is my favorite game ever and.. And.. I just don't know what to say... "Thank you..."
+supershigi Thank you so much, Laura!! I can't tell you how much it means to me that you took the time to listen! Thank you again for your music and for all of your kindness! ♡ :D
I don't understand it. I honestly don't. I've never played To the Moon, never heard this music, nor even heard of this game until now. Yet I honestly couldn't stop myself from crying to this song. Maybe it's the simple tune of the music box, maybe it's the voice, or maybe it's the words, but something about it made me cry like a baby, and I just don't understand it.
Ian Macdonald I understand that this comment is posted many months ago, but...have you played the game yet? The song becomes way more emotional once you get the context.
For me it’s because I feel like I’m in love. I really do, but not matter what I cannot love this person the way I do. It could mess up everything we’ve worked for to get this friendship we have. “Everything’s alright” is exactly how they told me they’ve felt with me, it’s how I feel with them. But I just can’t love them. Or at least I can’t tell them I do. But everything will be alright as long as we stay together, as long as we stay friends. Everything is alright.

Can I like this like a million times please? This song has legitimately been stuck in my head for at least three weeks, and this music box rendition is simply gorgeous. My go to song when I feel down, and you just made it even better. Thank you for this, it's amazing!
To The Moon, is my 2nd favourite game on steam... and to hear this song again... I just cannot even thank you how the memories I have of it. It's a great and simple game, and hence I love it. Thank you.
this has to be one of if not my favorite video game osts even while there aren't that many songs it just works the songs can all fit multiple situations and are all just wonderfully composed
I just had a panic attack/anxiety attack and someone I know said listen to this song and I did!! I calmed me down very much! It was a soothing song to help me, I bet if I didn't listen to this my panic attack/anxiety attack could have gotten even worse! So I thank you and this song!
Toxic Angel Im glad I had helped when I did, and honestly this song had pulled me through some dark places in my life, it made me cry and it seems like it’s right to help people who’s going through something, I’m sure she won’t see this but thanks Adriana for making a cover of this song from the sad story of “to the moon”
SO I usually don't get emotional over anything at all. Not movies, books, nothing. EXCEPT Video Games. Should I be concerned or ashamed that video games are the only things that make me cry? Yeah probably. Am I either of these things? Hehe, nope. Anyways, this game and especially this song hit me pretty hard and yes, I am a sobbing mess right now. It just... reminds me of too much... So, who wants to join this sobbing ball of misery in a corner? :D plz i don't want to be alone ;3;
That's probably because Video Games focus a lot more on immersing you into the world, they basically force you to empathize with everything because it's all happening to you in the game.
I just can't hear this song without starting to get all teared up. A whole game, a whole relationship, TWO WHOLE LIVES... All of the emotion of those things in just one song. It's amazing. Your version is really amazing too. I could listen to this all day~
If you haven't, I recommend you play Finding Paradise. It ends up just as emotional as To the Moon, but for completely different reasons. Also play A Bird's Story for just a touch of added context.
Now you played this game i have some other games for you to play: -A bird story -Mad father -Ib -The witch's house - the mirror lied. And maybe someday you'll start to like vocaloid! ;)
From the very beginning of my subscription to your channel, I searched for a music box cover of this song. You took it a step beyond infinity. Absolutely breathtaking.

This song makes me cry every time, and you executed it so beautifully I can't breathe. This brings back so many bittersweet memories. Thank you, for making this.
Oh my God... I love your voice, I love this song, but... i want to cry... this is so sad. To the Moon is so sad and when I'm thinking of that game, I want to play that game again, even if I know I'll cry... I'm really happy because you do this cover. (sorry if there are mistakes in my comment but my English isn't really good)
This song, this game, they honestly changed my entire view on how games can be art, beautiful at that. The song was first to make me cry over a game, the game itself shoved me, that you don't need many mechanics, much to do, to get such amazing experience. Where there is no need for amazing graphics and such. But there are few things i must say make this game stand out, that whih are it's story and music. I won't say what the game is about, but for me it was a eye-opener on how games can tell... diffrent kind of story than most media, you just don't get the same experience and posibilities of telling a story. And music, the music in this game made me be gin to love game soundtracks at all. Before that, i didn't really cared for those, they just where there, however after this games soundtrack, i started checking them out. And the "main" song, you know, this one, not only it made cry, but i understood, that music can be much more than nice sounding noice, but a work of art, giving more than a temporary moment of relaxation, but much longer influence on you as a whole, at least a bit, and tell it's story by itself. If you never played this game before, please try it. I know it may not give you the same experience i got from it, but it may. And if it even won't be much for you, at least might it be a little diffrent than most other games you played thus far. Thank everyone who made this game, if not for you, i wouldn't be here where i am right now, and as who i am. Again, Thank You.
Awww yesss. I love Lauras songs since i played Plants vs Zombies and i was so happy how 'To the Moon' and the Songs for it turned out. Very great cover of this beautiful song.
amazing! whoever sang it really put true emotion into it. at one part it sounded like the singer was shivering from tears. that means they really felt the emotion from the game. that's good.
Surprised how I haven't watched this, it's beautiful! Also, after listening to the original and this, I finally understood the true meaning of the lyrics. From my eyes, Johnny and River both share a love for space in general seeing how they both end up doing the same job along with looking at the sky. But River if I'm correct, has Asbergers which if I'm correct, on a scale of autism, you act very different like what is shown in River. And at the beginning, it seems John and River are in the stage where they don't know of her condition so when she says "my words feel like there's a rift in between them" It must mean her condition affects her socially while John saying "She said- "I'm sad" somehow without any words" He can see her emotions take effect from Asbergers along with behavior. Feel free to correct me.
The moment I saw that you had played To The Moon, I knew you would end up doing the cover. I don't know why I had this assurance that you would, but hey, it happened! Anyway, I love your music box version, it's so pretty! A beautiful tribute to this awesome game!

Ian Macdonald Isn't it weird how easy it is to cry to a song called "Everything's Alright".
Ian Macdonald I understand that this comment is posted many months ago, but...have you played the game yet? The song becomes way more emotional once you get the context.
For me it’s because I feel like I’m in love. I really do, but not matter what I cannot love this person the way I do. This is late, but honestly even a summary of the plot makes this sing so much more emotional.
Summary:
The setting has a device that allows the creation of memories so you don't die with regrets.
Two doctors work on a patient, who wants to go to the Moon, and who's partner has died. Unfortunately, the patient doesn't remember their actual first meeting, and the partner is unable to communicate as such.
In that first meeting, they created a rabbit constellation with the Moon as the belly and promised to meet every year. "We'll always meet at the Moon"
That promise was never fulfilled.

Can I like this like a million times please? This song has legitimately been stuck in my head for at least three weeks, and this music box rendition is simply gorgeous. My go to song when I feel down, and you just made it even better. Thank you for this, it's amazing!
The music box feel is perfect for this song! The harmonies sound fantastic too :) Keep up the amazing work! :)
This is my go-to song when missing someone or having a bad day. Thank you for everything Adrisaurus!
To The Moon, is my 2nd favourite game on steam... and to hear this song again... I just cannot even thank you how the memories I have of it. It's a great and simple game, and hence I love it. Thank you.
Second favorite game? What is your first?
Crypt Of The NecroDancer!
Love your Music box instrumental. The voice overlays also make this cover much more special!
Frickin To the Moon though...
God just...a beautiful voice, its perfect for this song.
this has to be one of if not my favorite video game osts even while there aren't that many songs it just works the songs can all fit multiple situations and are all just wonderfully composed
I'm in the toilet crying at almost 1am. I'm so tired of being lonely. I want someone to cry with.
literally 22 seconds in and i'm tearing up. this is incredible. thank you
*sees that you've done a cover to this song* *INCOHERENT SCREAMING*
I just had a panic attack/anxiety attack and someone I know said listen to this song and I did!! I calmed me down very much! It was a soothing song to help me, I bet if I didn't listen to this my panic attack/anxiety attack could have gotten even worse! So I thank you and this song!
Toxic Angel Im glad I had helped when I did, and honestly this song had pulled me through some dark places in my life, it made me cry and it seems like it’s right to help people who’s going through something, I’m sure she won’t see this but thanks Adriana for making a cover of this song from the sad story of “to the moon”
SO I usually don't get emotional
over anything at all. Not movies, books, nothing.
EXCEPT Video Games. Should I be concerned or ashamed that video games are the only things that make me cry?
Yeah probably. Am I either of these things?
Hehe, nope.
Anyways, this game and especially this song hit me pretty hard and yes, I am a sobbing mess right now. It just... reminds me of too much...
So, who wants to join this sobbing ball of misery in a corner? :D
plz i don't want to be alone ;3;
I'm joining too ;~;
Hang on let me scoot in that corner...
It's because video games make you a part of the story. You have some control in what happens to an extent.
That's probably because Video Games focus a lot more on immersing you into the world, they basically force you to empathize with everything because it's all happening to you in the game.
I have all of the games that have made me cry memorized (this is the 3rd one)
I just can't hear this song without starting to get all teared up. A whole game, a whole relationship, TWO WHOLE LIVES... All of the emotion of those things in just one song. It's amazing.
Your version is really amazing too. I could listen to this all day~
OH MY OH MY OH MY.
YOU JUST DIDN'T
*breaths heavily*
I JUST CAN'T
IT'S SO PERFECT
*sorry for caps lock D:*
Such a beautiful song
Bring tears to my eyes again
If you haven't, I recommend you play Finding Paradise. It ends up just as emotional as To the Moon, but for completely different reasons. Also play A Bird's Story for just a touch of added context.
I sang this song my senior year in HS and I’ll never forget it. Love this song and game
Now you played this game i have some other games for you to play:
-A bird story
-Mad father
-Ib
-The witch's house
- the mirror lied.
And maybe someday you'll start to like vocaloid! ;)
From the very beginning of my subscription to your channel, I searched for a music box cover of this song. You took it a step beyond infinity. Absolutely breathtaking.
Oh god it's making me tear up a bit...
This song fills me with such longing and understanding. It's like someone understands my experiences.

(sorry if there are mistakes in my comment but my English isn't really good)
These lyrics kill me. Beautiful.
You're here again, don't worry, you're sure, everything will be fine, you're an incredible person, I love you.
The story for this game is fecking devastating.
Awww yesss. I love Lauras songs since i played Plants vs Zombies and i was so happy how 'To the Moon' and the Songs for it turned out.
Very great cover of this beautiful song.
amazing! whoever sang it really put true emotion into it. at one part it sounded like the singer was shivering from tears. that means they really felt the emotion from the game. that's good.
essa música .. essa voz.. essa letra 😻😻😻
Sim..nem chorei ^^,
I absolutely adore this song, it really does make you feel like everything's alright! Great job, Adriana! :)
OH NO THIS GAME
I'm already missing the game. It's phenomenal. Great cover as always ;v;
This is so calming to listen to. I just listen to this whenever I’m mad or sad and it always calms me down. You have a beautiful voice.
No, shhhh, I am not crying at how beautiful this is
I listened to this cover so much at 15. Hearing it again at 23 is so nostalgic
Don't worry, Adriana -- your words will never lose their meaning to us! :D Oh, and brilliant work, by the way!
This song is one of the best songs I heard in a long time.
Proceed to stab me in the heart with a double edged dagger called "feels" why don't you? No, go right ahead, please.
Your rendition of this song gave me chills. Beautiful job.
I'm not crying.
You're stupid.
*runs away bawling* RIVERRRRR!!
I knew I was going to get the feels when I saw a Laura Shigihara song covered. Immediately caught my attention and I was not disappointed.
