This game is an absolute hidden gem on the PS2. Was so surprised it was getting remastered and already have the LE shipped and on the way to me. I have yet to finish this game on the PS2, but with this remaster, I will definitely finish it. You simply just don't see many RTS games on consoles and with good reason due to controls being a lot better with a mouse and keyboard. However, I think the controls were very well thought out in this game, especially when you can freeze time at any time, allowing you to be just as precise with timing as you could be on PC RTS games.
Very excited to revisit this game and check out what's improved, in addition to finally completing the game. A masterful work of art in my eyes.
I'm just holding out for a re release of Muramasa the demon blade, hopefully the port that sooner then later , that's one game I'd double dip for 😤👌.
They can make a complete edition since they added a lot of DLC content for the Vita release.
Vanillaware never misses.

I had the collector's edition pre-ordered when I learned vanillaware made this. I'm excited for this!
finished the entire game story mode twice, interesting, beautiful, and fun! .. even though difficulty at later times does surge too much.
Kinda hilarious how everyone is named after a kind of booze, I started drinking Lillet Blanc because of this game
Well that went completely over my head..even the most obvious one imo, Advocat, I figured was a play on 'devil's advocate'..surely not all the characters are? Gammel Dore? Ophelia..Raine? Ballentyne? Chatreuse Grande I guess I could see
@@docthefaust4519 Some are named after less well known spirits and drinks, and others had their names changed from the original Japanese. Meanwhile some are way more obvious (looking at you Margarita).
Had it pre-ordered, did not play the original which I had never heard of. Really happy I discovered this interesting title randomly looking through upcoming game pre-orders.

I want a sequel, I thought maybe it could be called GrislyGris-gris due to the addition of a new Vaudaun(sp? Aka voodoo) magic type, a gris-gris being a totemic power focus akin to a wand or grimoire (best o my knowledge)
Playstation continues to baffle me. This game has panties, huge cleavage, and butt cheeks. No censorship. No changes. Meanwhile Alice Gear has 1 exposed back and they slam the censorship hammer and required art asset changes. Wut?!?
Can't wait to play this again on my Nintendo Switch! Loved this game when I was a kid! Quality release, such a great game! Anything Vanillaware releases is an instant classic.
Literally every vanilla ware game is completely unique. They don't make the same thing twice.
I remember buying this on the PS2 because I loves Odin Sphere so much, and this is another game from the same company. And I also remember never finishing it because of how hard it is. lol

Yup, the game difficult on PS2 even with that PS2 controller. I found it would be easier to play with a mouse, if that was even possible. I hope the tutorials alleviates the difficulty on PS4-5

I hear you, as soon as I read “RTS on a console” I was out but this doesn’t quite look like a traditional RTS as typically associated with the acronym. Still probably not for me though.

Um...what? This is a remastered PS2 game and is far more fleshed out than 99% of mobile games, I can't even fathom trying to play a game like this on mobile.
