    Bought a stock 15 RGS that fit me perfectly at 6’1” I must of lucked out because the stock bars fit me perfectly in the factory position 7 years later. Glad you’re back👍

    Unbelievable timing.... I had been thinking I was going to adjust my bars forward a little bit. Honestly I wasn't concerned about how or the whatevers because I've changed bars a few times. After seeing your video I was 👍 yes I am liking this.... Took me maybe 10 minutes.
    Thanks....

    I torqued mine to 20 after a bar install and they still seem loose...any suggestions?

  • @guins99

    I have a 21 SGS, Once you open up panel you can see the bolts but no direct line to apply wrench to remove them, clearly the fairing has to be pulled away.

    • @RideitWrenchit
      @RideitWrenchit  Год назад

      That's why you use the ball end Allen wrench, it allows you to get on those bolts at an angle without pulling the fairing away.

    How are you liking the 12" versus the 10" you had on your 2015? I am asking, as I am thinking about taking the 10" off and swapping out for 12 inch on my 2014 StreetGlide Special.
    p.s. great tip. I have done that when switching my bars in the past. And you are correct you do not want that knurl wearing out the softer metal.

    • @RideitWrenchit
      @RideitWrenchit  2 года назад +1

      Not sure I like either one better. They are different for sure. The 10s seemed to give tighter control when turning slow like parking lots or U-Turns. The 12s feel better for long rides for my hand level. The 10s though keep my hands behind the fairing which keeps them warmer for winter riding. Pros and Cons for both.

    My TPMS sensors are all of a suden reading 340 and 280 instead of 36 psi and 40 psi looks like somehow they are reading in KPa do you know if you can change between PSI and KPA ? I see nothing on line or in my owners manual! Thanks

    • @RideitWrenchit
      @RideitWrenchit  2 года назад +3

      From the home screen click "Setup" (gear icon). Scroll to "Metric Units". Tap that and it will change to "English Units". then go to the info screen for tire pressure and it will now read in PSI.
