Passed today from Sidcup test centre! It was test route 3! (well, mostly it was route 3, with a little variation) Watched each route about 3 to 4 times! Thanks for the videos! So helpful!
Thanks very much Taz for these videos. I just passed my test on 4th October 2022. I got a slot on a short term appointment on same day. I didn’t have time to prepare but because I’ve been watching your videos I was confident. I got test route 4 and passed with 2 minor faults. Massive thanks
Passed today with 2 minors, thank you for these videos. Anybody doing a test i would recommend sidcup because the instructors are sooooo friendly and the area was quiet when i done my test at 10:14.
i failed my test yesterday 0minors 1 major (i stalled coming out the junction by sidcup christ church causing car on my right to slow/stop), honestly so gutted😕i got a very similar route to test route 3. I’ve been waiting since november for a test aswell😭
@@drivingwithtaz3231 the earliest when i looked yesterday was december, so booked that and i’m using cancellation apps, hopefully it finds one a lot sooner 🤞🏼and thank you!!
@@topazreed9675 how do cancellation apps work please? Ive heard about them but have no idea how to go about it as my theory test will run out in january
Sorry to hear that Topaz. I had few days ago test in Enfield (very hard routes and roads compared to Sidcup), i failed 1 major 1 minor too :((( silly mistake to be honest I did.
Pls, I need few driving lessons. I have been driven like 2years now , I ve done practically 2 twice but failed because of clearance. I got another date now but my instructor got emergency, he has to travel to Africa. I need instructor to do few lessons with so , I can go for my test. Looking forward to hear from u My centre is Sidcup, that centre I have been learning on all these while
My test is tomorrow at 10:14am here in sidcup and I drove round this route but not many of the other routes and I don’t live in this area I live in Croydon area, and I have a question I would like to use a Satnav for the test so will the examiner accept my request for using a satnav or would he not ?

Hi Do you happen to know the time you done this? As I have booked my test for 10:15 on a Wednesday and wondered if the roads are gonna be busy at this time.
You won’t have the school traffic which is good but it only takes a car to get stuck on the Ruxley roundabout and that road can get busy. If you can drive then you will be fine. Good luck.

My biggest fear is failing straight after coming out of the centre, cos it’s so complicated
Practice the Ruxley roundabout loads with your instructor. Remember to only go when it’s safe and stay in your lane. Practice makes perfect 🚗

I did this route before, the otherway around and a hill start on that hill the one with trees on left of that hill just before the gas station.

No sorry it’s pot luck as to wether you get to use the satnav or be asked to follow the road signs for 20 mins. Good luck 🚗

That’s my favourite test time. No lunchtime traffic so if the roundabouts are clear then hopefully you will have a lovely clear test. Good luck 🚗

how many test routes are there in sidcup ?? is it only 8?
I think they use around 12. Depending on the time of day and the traffic then they can use any of these routes
