I will try and record another one over the weekend. The routes ain’t perfect as they could take you around them and change a few turns but at least you will get an idea. Good luck with your test 🚗
i have my test tomorrow and first visited gillingham yesterday 😮 that was also my first time on a multi lane roundabout 😢 why are there sooo many roundabouts in gillingham where I live is mostly country roads so I've mainly dealt with mini roundabouts. there's so much margin for error there but i will keep my cool and not use the wrong lane ! and if I am in the wrong lane i will just go the wrong direction and not panic. hoping for the best thanks for these videos
On the 1st one you could put a left signal but you can only go one way in that lane. The one on 3:12 I was following the sat nav and that calls it the 2nd exit.
@@drivingwithtaz3231 I followed your advice when I realised that my test route had a few potholes. I just did my driving practical test this morning and I passed with 3 minors! 😊 Thanks for filming these videos, they helped me alot familiarise myself with the area.

Legend got my test on the 8th next month never been to gillingham but it’s the only test I can get , these are really helpful in lowering the nerves

Bowater roundabout (Tesco)
1st Exit M2
2nd Exit Gillingham
3rd Exit Twydall
4th Exit Rainham
5th Exit Store

If you get a chance then go and use it early in the morning when it’s empty. All the lanes are marked on the floor with where to go.

If that lane was 100% clear then you can cross into it but why make things complicated 😃

@ayrkotu1612 they will probably be busy around the Tesco roundabout at that time. Take it easy and just be safe.

Gillingham has roughly 12 routes.

Checking blind spots, is it a major concern??
Yes 100%. If a car or bike goes to overtake you and you haven’t acted on it then your more likely to fail.

Yes around Bredhurst.
Will my instructor give me the directions as we leave from the test center
The examiner may tell you to follow the sat Nav. If I’m doubt then just ask them.

How do you deal with potholes? They make me nervous.
Try and spot it early, slow down, check your mirrors and move slightly if it’s safe to do so so that you don’t go down it

Would you say this test route is easier than the ones in London?
I would of thought the traffic in London may make a test harder but you may get lucky with other drivers on the day.
