Charles Woodson, Nick Collins, Tramon Williams, Sam Shields, Desmond Bishop, Clay Matthews, BJ Raji Never knew how good I had it as a fan watching them play! Fast forward from winning the Superbowl with this group to how the team looks now on both sides of the ball... I am grateful for this game and team!
I remember the day we (lol I say we, I mean the Packers) signed Charles Woodson. I called my buddy and we were both in disbelief. Thanks for the memories!!!
49 year old lifelong Packer fan and Wisconsinite. Seems like players never want to come to Green Bay and they’re always super salty when they have to leave. That’s a dichotomy that I’ll never understand. They sh*t on the city too, which really hurts me. This town might be the smallest market in all of sports but we pack that stadium every week, we travel well and rarely boo our beloved Packers. This team means everything to us, we can’t help that we’re not a bustling metropolis. It’s always the fans that feel the sting. Aaron Jones signing with Minnesota doesn’t hurt Gute, it only hurts the fans
I never understood why players never want to go to the packers our whole philosophy is about a winning culture, you'd think people would want to surround themselves by that to make a legacy 🤔
I also live in Wisconsin and it does suck to always be the little town of the nfl and have players not want to come here , we are one of the most historic franchises in all of sports but on the other side , if I was a young wealthy person and let’s take football out of it would I want to goto work every day and when I get out have it be great weather and plenty of amenities and things to do with my family , of course , so I don’t blame them for not wanting to work all day get out to poor weather and sit in my house all day and never do anything, but it is the spot if all you care about Is football .
it's about more than football for players nowadays especially the younger guys who want the flash of the big markets. The closest major city being 1hr 40 mins away isn't appealing to these guys. It's only the players that enjoy the small town college feel of the Packers that are gonna enjoy it there. It may not be the 50s,70s or 80s anymore but some people still see it as the "Siberia of the NFL" due to it being a town of 100k people with no major events except football in the city. It's why Packers need to sometimes overspend in free agency or focus on the draft. When your organization lives by the idea that it's better to have a guy cut a year early than a year too late those players feel disrespected knowing they were key contributors to the team and that they can still play but the Packers didn't want them anymore. They are an organization that refuses to deal with the risk that happens with players age at certain positions, they play it safe. It's why Aaron Jones who is age 30 in December was let go. Aaron Jones market of being 6mil dollars at this point of his career turned out to be correct too because he signed with Minnesota for about 7 mil. The Packers knew his market value but his agent and Jones refused to believe it until they hit the market. Knowing they signed Jacobs to replace him right away is gonna make him salty too. It didn't help he had took 2 other paycuts before them asking him to take another 50% cut too. If not for him missing over half the season due to injury last year I wonder if he'd still be on the team but as injuries start happening and he's getting older for his position it's hard to justify keeping him knowing how the Packers run things.
As a Packer fan, I was TOTALLY PSYCHED when we got Charles Woodson!!! I'm SO glad it all worked out. Plus, "Wood" and the rst of us got another Trophy!!!
Wood, You were the MAIN REASON we won that Super Bowl. Your leadership and presence in that locker room BROUGHT US THERE. Im not even joking. For 12 years after that, we didnt sniff it. We wouldnt have that Lombardi without you Wood, thats a fact. Thank you #21 🙏🙏 -Packers Nation
One of my favorite Packers of all time what he brought to the team both on and off the field was tremendous and I love that in spite his relatively short time with them he’s in the Packers HOF.
i remember going to the family night scrimmage i was right behind the bench and he didn’t play but he kinda seemed he didn’t want to be there. that shit didn’t matter
He should have retired, as a Packer!! I hate TT for letting my man walk back to the Raiders!! He would have brought another ring back to GB if TT let him stay!!!! Just saying
This is old news. He told off his agent for talking to GB and he said he was trying to get out of going lol it was destiny and he went from fringe HOF to first ballot

Charles Woodson is hands down, HANDS DOWN!!!! My favorite Packers player of all time!
Watching Charles Woodson when I was a kid when he played for Michigan is some of my favorite sports memories of all time.
Hearing Charles talk about the secondary sure brought back a lot of memories.
I remember the day we (lol I say we, I mean the Packers) signed Charles Woodson. I called my buddy and we were both in disbelief. Thanks for the memories!!!
No it's we 😂
I will be forever grateful to this man for helping bring the Lombardi home in 2010/2011
C-Wood. Absolute beast and Packers Legend 💚💛🧀🧀💛💚

I think the cold has a lot to do with it too.
It's not about the people, it's about the atmosphere. They never trash the fans, just the scenery, and the administration.

Wood is in my personal top 3 favorite Packers. Warrior

i remember going to the family night scrimmage i was right behind the bench and he didn’t play but he kinda seemed he didn’t want to be there. that shit didn’t matter

My 🐐

Jay cutler favorites wide receiver
Nick Collins, Al Harris, Tramon Williams and Charles Woodson is a nasty secondary
Duuuude Nick Collins...Its a FUCKING tragedy his career got cut short. Fucking tragedy. All of those guys are legends.
Imagine if Ted had resign Woodson when he brought in peppers
And the rest wasn't too shabby either! Clay Matthews, AJ Hawk, Nick Barnett, Ryan Pickett, Johnny Jolly, Aaron Campman, Cullen Jenkins, Atari Bigby
Sam Shields bruh.
@@CholoJohn total dawg
The good ol days!!! Go Pack Go!!!!
Does this show have any sponsors?
😂
I was thinking the same thing and then ran into your comment lol
He forgot Sam Shields
He should have retired, as a Packer!! I hate TT for letting my man walk back to the Raiders!! He would have brought another ring back to GB if TT let him stay!!!! Just saying
He definitely still had a few more years left in him when he left. Could have saved GB from a few terrible picks trying to replace him.
They let Woodson walk and brought in peppers. They should've resign Woodson so we can see peppers and Woodson on the same team
This is old news. He told off his agent for talking to GB and he said he was trying to get out of going lol it was destiny and he went from fringe HOF to first ballot
this is why people think it's scripted
I was excited when we got him!
