- In this video, I'll show you how to create cute children's pillow toys using the patchwork technique! 😍 We are sewing adorable kittens! 🐱 As a base, I suggest using viscose cleaning cloths and sewing 5 cm wide strips onto them to fill the entire fabric. After that, I recommend quilting the patchwork part for durability. 🧵 Then, we'll prepare the back, combining the base (the viscose cloth) with beautiful cotton fabric and doing fairly dense stitching.
Let's move on to the most interesting part - sewing the pillow's face. 🐱 Using fusible web and a hot iron, attach the light fabric to the base, then draw the face using a stencil or freehand and embroider it with embroidery floss along the drawn lines. ✏️ Combine the face with the patchwork part.
The next step is creating the ears and sewing them to the first half of the pillow. 🐾 Then, we'll assemble the entire pillow, sewing the pieces together and leaving an opening for turning it inside out. Fill the pillow to the desired firmness with a suitable filler and close the opening with a hidden stitch by hand. 🪡 And enjoy the result! 🥰

В этом видео я покажу вам, как создать милые детские подушки-игрушки в технике пэчворк! 😍 Шьем очаровательных котят! 🐱 В качестве основы предлагаю использовать вискозные салфетки для уборки и нашивать на них полосы шириной 5 см, так необходимо заполнить все полотно. После этого лоскутную часть рекомендую для прочности простегать. 🧵 Затем подготовим изнанку, соединяем основу (вискозную салфетку) с красивой хлопковой тканью и прокладываем довольно плотную стежку.
Приступаем к самому интересному, шьем мордочку для подушки. 🐱С помощью клеевой паутинки и горячего утюга приклеиваем светлую ткань к основе, далее нарисуем мордашку с помощью трафарета или от руки и прошьем ее нитками мулине по намеченным линиям. ✏️ Соединим мордочку и лоскутную часть.
Следующий шаг - создание ушек и сшивание их с первой половиной подушки. 🐾 Затем соберем всю подушку, сошьем детали, оставив отверстие для выворачивания. Наполним подушку до желаемой плотности подходящим наполнителем и зашьем отверстие потайным швом вручную. 🪡 И наслаждаемся результатом! 🥰

What type of fabric is used for the back and ears? Is it 100% cotton or a blend with polycotton.

This is so very cute, but be aware that it's over 29 inches and the pattern when printing will only print at the scale of the paper in your printer. The pattern is listed in millimeters which when converted is almost 30 inches wide. So your finished product using the size provided will be smaller than a sheet of paper. There may be a way to have it sectioned up into quarters, I am not that savvy with that sort of thing so I am just printing it at the 8.5x11 size and making my own pattern the size I want my pillow.

Um documento contém o stencil "grande" no seu tamanho original como um único elemento, e o segundo documento tem o stencil dividido em partes como um poster. Pode imprimir o cartaz e colar as folhas A4 para formar um elemento completo. Espero que resulte para si ❤️

А как бы ещё и трафарет распечатать?
В закрепленном комментарии вы найдете ссылки на pdf документы с трафаретом. В одном документе находится «большой» трафарет в оригинальном размере как единый элемент, а во втором трафарет разбит на части в виде постера. Вы можете распечатать постер и склеить листы формата А4 в целый элемент. Надеюсь у вас все получится ❤️
