Charlie is an absolute king. One of the best, most well maintained collections of animals I've ever seen!
Mr. Moorcroft is always so modest, but what an amazing collection, and I love his meticulous care. Wonderful! Peaceful environments.
and 100% on board with frequent hand washing practices, so never apologize for that!!!
👍🤠
For sure. You can just tell he's a great guy. His character really shines.
Thank you, Charlie, for allowing Kenan to show us your beautiful collection. Thanks, Kenan. Truly enjoyed this!! Love the small ones!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I really love his enclosures and the overall balance his rooms have. The cleanliness and how he incorporates plants and his other interests creates a peaceful and beautiful experience.
Thanks
That last little guy melted my heart!!!
Tanner serpa is amazing for sure.
Wow, Matt... the new intro, music, and end of the videos is incredible!!! Great work!
Oooh a Part 2 with Charlie, and his incredible Turtle Conservation Program. How could one not be impressed by how beautifully designed the homes/displays are, and how happy and healthy the animals are under his care. Thanks Kenan and Charlie, this was extra special.
Hello great video information Kenan
Fred's Dynasty continues to grow! Love it 🥰🥰
I'm pretty sure Kenan could do pancakes in with petro and petra... or where the Argus is now ... both of those spots have seemed perfect for them with a ton of heat mats in a rock structure.
2:43 As an Israeli guy, they are illegal to keep here as pets because they are an endangered species. What we do have in our tiny bit of land is a sub-species of them we call "צב יבשה מדברי - Tzav Yabasha Midbari" which translates to simply "Desert Tortoise", there is very little known about them and they are critically endangered too. I've never seen one in person due to the fact that their habitat is the desert - from southern Israel to the Sinai peninsula and they are very rare to come by because of their small population these days.
What I can tell you is that they look exactly like a smaller version of Greek Tortoises, a closely related species. They are also vulnerable in Israel and there are strict laws regarding them too but they are much more common in the wild here. Also I can assure you their status is not related to the food industry in any way, at least from our side of the map because, well, they are not Kosher meaning they can't be eaten by tradition keeping Jews.
SHOUT OUT TO THE SERPA SQUAD! Tanner rules.
He’s an amazing guy and good friend
Top notch animal keeper 👌
I really enjoy when you visit Charlie, love the Egyptian tortoises, I would like to breed them.
I gotta check this place out! 🐢🐢❤️
I wish i can raise an egyptian tortoise. My space is quite small and habing a turtle roam my space is better than keeping a xat or dog for me as i allergic to fur. I mostly take xare of acquatic friends along with little asian yellow pond turtles who both have great personalities. It is nice to contribute to a cause keeping their lineage for the years to come. Sadly i can't afford tovacquire that rare of a breed. So thank you for showing another video like this.
LOL As soon as that turtle saw that warm he hit the switches, and attacked BIG DOGGIE 💯👣
Love your video's with Charlie, I so appreciate the passion and knowledge you both share, and of course I love turtles
🙏🤠
Beautiful stuff Charlie. Amazing g x
its also really hard for us to fall for camouflage if we know what to look for because our vision evolved to be really good at spotting things like lions leopards and snakes. because its one of the ways we survived. it has been really ling sinds we lost out claws and big teeth so we had to use our incredible brain too survive. partly what caused us to evolve sight that is really good at telling patterns and colors apart. much better than most other animals
Thank you Mr. Moorcroft. What absolutely stunning enclosures and truly beautiful animals you have. You can clearly see how meticulous the care you give the animals. Just truly amazing
Again thank you for sharing with us
Wow didn’t know there was small turtles like that, that’s what I have been wanting a small turtle that don’t get bigger 😊 thanks for doing this video 😊
I got worms! I was literally laughing out loud and my kids had no clue why.
That room is incredible love the albino snapper
Had the privilege of taking care of muhlenberg’s bog turtles when I was a zoo keeper. They were voracious little eaters like those leaf turtles! Loved those guys!
Love the new intro
Egyptian tortoises are the top of my bucket list. I live in Israel, and they can be found in the south towards Sinai and Eilat. I would LOVE to breed for conservation, with an eye towards reintroducing them into the wild.
Wow! Love the video. Mr Moorcroft is awesome!
Love it when you visit Mr. Moorcroft. He is the gold standard of care, no matter what species.
I remember the first time Kenan introduced me to mr. Moorcroft. He definitely took some time to get used to kenan and being on video. Now he’s much more talkative! Always happy to see people who are passionate

Herpers working hand in hand with conservationists makes me very happy. It's a supercool aspect of the hobby. We need more of it.
im impressed and inspired.
You can see how happy Charlie makes people. They always are brought to this childlike innocence and can never stop smiling. Every time we see Charlie's room, I grow more and more infatuated.
Thanks! 😊
This is someone who exemplifies what it means to be a great care giver of animals! Clean, healthy & proper facility. Thank you for doing your part, to help preserve these beautiful species! 🙏
Thank you
Love his collection man!! Always cool to see him.
I’m a big fan of the channel! I especially like when you go out to visit other collectors. I love when you and your friends are knowledgeable. I love the way he keeps everything so clean! Thanks for sharing
Yes! I knew that there was more.
Love the skin patterns on those Florida box turtles and the patterns on their backs.❣️❣️
Mr. Moorcroft, your passion to conserve these precious species is truly uplifting. And the fact that you are also passing this spirit on to others, means that there is hope.
I’ve been looking for a pair of these little Egyptian tortoises for ages. Were can I get a pair of them?. I’m positive I can take care of them?.?😁🤓
Please! Spanish 😢
I said it yesterday but I love Charlie’s place . And i love seeing the way he keeps his animals
Thanks
I feel that way. I need to rehome my box turtles. I know I could put ask on Facebook but I worry about them going to homes that do not know how to care for them.
I’m thinking about getting into turtles. I’m a cat person but I love all animals and take very good care of mine. What state are you in?
Those little leaf turtles!! Very cute! He does a great job with the turtles awesome enclosures!!
Thank you both for the inspiration 🙏
I love the turtle in food market in China it looks amazing people sucks
Thanx Keenan 🤠
Love his set up
What an amazing man and awesome video!! Love the little critters🐢❤
💜💚💜💚💜💚💜💚💜💚💜💚💜💚💜
I wonder if bio dude’s terra Sahara would be a good substrate for Egyptian tortoises
Mr. Moorcroft you sir have an amazing yard and garage set up!
Thank you
Just wow. 😍 Newer to the channel so this is my first time seeing any of this. Those turtles are stunning! I live in North Florida so the box turtles are probably my favorite. I had one as a kid that the Estuary couldn’t care for so they asked my grandpa and I. It was just a normal color variant but he was missing a leg and an eye as well as part of his shell was cracked. Once he was healed up enough he went into a new enclosure they built at the estuary. ♥️🐢
Welcome to the Kamp Bri!🤠
Thanks for watching
Do you ever just bring cash with you to buy new stuff! You seem so excited about it all
I hate it I hate that new intro I hate it it's weird to same old same old cliche like pick something new
Why aren’t the native turtles being bread and being reintroduced to their natural habitat?
Love your place Charlie. Thanks for the tour 💜
Glad you enjoyed it
Tours of hobbyist make some of the best videos. Thanks kenan!
I remember seeing pancake tortoises for sale when I was a kid in the 80s .
I love tortoises and horses, have a paint in the back, as well as 7 tortoises, lol and plants everywhere outside, they are kind of at a standstill until we start to warm up a little more, even the torts are starting to wake up. lol well 2 have. 🤷♀️ my son trains horses also. He is in Phoenix, Arizona. I definitely love the torts, btw did you find out the name for that hibiscus? Would love to know the name of it ❤ and would it survive in California’s high desert where it’s 110* in the summer and at times 50* nights, and winters ranging from 20* - 30* nights and 50’s in the day, give or take, this yr has been a crazy weather yr that happens about every 4 yrs. Tfs ❤to y’all.
He gave the name in the other video. I can’t remember the name, sorry.
@@sharim yes he kind of did, he said he would give me the whole name of the plant because it’s not the normal hibiscus. So let’s hope. lol
Happy birthday Charlie, your place is amazing!!
Edit: Wait…is it his birthday or not? Lol!
No. lol. That was just his hand washing song
@@charlie_moorcroft ohhh! Duh…lol!!
Always a good visit to Charlie's place. 😁😁

Thanks so much!
Thank you Charlie that was amazing! Appreciate the love and care ❤️
Thanks!
This is awesome! My local zoo has a pancake tortoise. I saw it once.
This was fantastic!
I love Charlie and his enclosures and these amazing turtles that he is caretaking!
Kenan, you know all the best people!
Charlie, I do hope that you might allow Kenan to come back in the not too distant future, so that he can share a follow up with us!
Those last 2 turtles are my absolute favourite turtles that I have ever seen!
Those adorable bug eyes! And the very last sweetheart coming over to the door with its mouth open!! So very cute and funny! I love them!
Thank you. He’s welcome anytime.
Kenan thank you for the vlog at Charlie's. I always enjoy and love when you go there. A lot. Tell him he's as neat or pristine (I believe the word you used) as his habitats. Don't feel left out both of you should feel special on the animals you're asked to take in. Conservation and private. Charlie's are more (as you said inside and specialized) while yours are more outside and specialized.
Thank you all for what you do. Tell Matt thank you too he has really been a great addition.
Thanks. We had fun and Matt is super.
Asia seems to have very little interest or respect for any kind of animal life .
These are the best videos. Love to see people (Charlie) doing things right for the animals in his care.
👍👍👍❤❤❤🐢🐢🐢
Kenan and Charlie, thanks for another fantastic video! Always love seeing this amazing and pristine collection.
Thanks 😊
Moorcroft has inspired me so much with my builds and his attention to detail. That dude is awesome

Very cool, good stuff👍👍
Thanks 👍
Fabulous environments for such amazing critters.
Thanks
I also think it’s pretty cool
I hope tanner takes the albino snapper
I love when you go there to see his reptiles, his love of them equals your own. Thank you both for the love of reptiles 💜💜😍
Beautiful set up for all of his critters. Enjoyed the segments
Glad you enjoyed it
Does anyone know where I can get a mature male spotted turtle? I’ve got a mature female who’s been laying eggs and I would love to breed her, but males are impossible to find. I’ve also got a 15 year old male yellow footed tortoise that I’m looking for a female for and they are also impossible to find.
TTPG
Can you put live food in with box turtles and let them forage for them like the Dubia roach, earth worms and things like that???
Yes. Every enclosure has earthworms and isopods to eat and springtails for cleanup.
Is there a special type of plastic you need to use when housing aquatic animals? I had a frog die once and someone in a forum told me it was probably the plastic I had him in.
No. Amphibian skin is way more sensitive to all sorts of things.
