The 2013 rendition is by far the best.
Obviously James And 2010 the second best.
Obviously James Agreed, it still is my favorite one after listening to 2016 version. also the only one I bought. New year, new chance to better looking forward tot 2017 version. like every year :)
The 10 year may have been the best though
2019 and i still rank 2013 as my fav, 2010 as my second :)
In my position here my ranked after play them :
1) 2010 --> Just the best because the feeling in the end is just epic and incomparable. We hope a day an update !
2) 2013 --> Ofc this is just breathtaking. As a whole the piece is incredible.
3) 2016+2012 --> Those are very beautiful with lots of variations that make them charming.
lovely, wish my cat would stay near me whilst I play piano for inspiration, like you seem to be getting from him/her, or maybe its just relaxing for you both :) although your cat seems completely oblivious to any piano playing, its rather intent on washing itself, amazing.

I like how the scenery is placed. The outside world doesn't notice the soft atmosphere within a certain house. The outside is cold and winterish while the inside is warm and cozy.

As a giant fan of Kingdom Hearts myself and kinda wanting to learn the piano myself... This was super inspiring. Though I am mainly a Cello guy Piano was always really cool to me.. All I can say is that this was awesome and incredibly cool to listen to... Have fun playing the Piano Kyle :) And good luck!

You CANNOT feel stressed, tense or scared when you look at a sleeping cat....or really, it doesn't matter what the cat is doing, just looking at him/her makes you feel serenity

Oh my god hahaha i did that with the first kh game- id turn it on and leave it playing til i fell asleep- and kyle should do the music, he adds a soft yet strong touch in his music ;)

Wow, this sounds great. I can tell this guy really likes Xion's theme. That bit that he plays is really the most beautiful part of it. It all is but I get the most goosebumps hearing that part lol.
This rendition, with its quick little integrations of Kingdom Heart's most beautiful songs, was absolutely breathtaking. I never thought anything could surpass my favorite of all of your recordings, Dearly Beloved (Soft Version), but this was incredible. It brought tears to my eyes. I bought this a few minutes in. One of your absolute best. Kyle, bravo, and thank you for delivering once again!
Kyle everytime I hear you play I regret giving up on learning the piano. I lost so much motivation through my early teenage years. But every time I hear you play it makes me want to pull out my olf keyboard and practice. You have an amazing talent, thank you for playing these beautiful songs!
This makes me want to say something that I always wanted to tell someone that I lost in my life.
No matter what...darkness can be in our lives even if we don't want it to. No one has a perfect life and we all know that, but we have to go on no matter if the darkness gets the better of us. He would want that for me...he would want that for all of us. There is times when were down and sad but that's why we have bonds or our family...they help us feel better in our daily lives. I'm not going to let anyone make me feel small or weak...I want to be strong for the people I care about...I want to find the light in my life and I know I will find it someday. I have to move on...I can't keep mourning you...you understand...right? :)

It's impossible not to see the years of work and dedication when listening to the development of these pieces. You're getting better every year, don't ever stop playing Mr. Landry. You're an inspiration to musicians and non-musicians everywhere.
Without listening to Kyle's soothing music, I wouldn't have been able to survive senior year of high school. And considering I am still alive, I am grateful.

Couldn't agree more, I come back to this video at least monthly. What makes this the best version for me is the very short, underrated transition at 4:52. It really sounds like a "spiral into chaos", very fitting for a series like KH.

Welp i just discovered your works and am incredibly impressed. Going to buy your 2012, 2013, and 2015 on Itunes. I have played versions of this songs for all my daughter when they were baby's to lullaby them to sleep. And now the combined 30min min with those 3 performances will be their new melody to whisk them away into the land dreams.
My grandfather just passed away, not two days ago. Your music helps me get through it. Thank you so very much for sharing your incredible talent.

This made something lurch within my body; try to separate itself and go through the door your music opens and I can't follow. There's no describing the feeling your compositions give me. You are my favorite sound.

It's called Vector to the Heavens/ Dirge of the Fourteenth when battling her. When she dies, the variation is called Musique Pour la Trestesse de Xion (Music for the Sadness of Xion). And you can hear it throughout the whole 7-minute mark if you really listen :)
Again, the year my daughter was born. This one is most special to me, tears every time.

This song to me explains life as a whole from birth to death, reason I feel this way is how the song starts simple but then progresses to a more complex piece as it becomes reflective as how everything was so simple when we are young but grows more complex as we mature when other emotions intertwine and then the end as it slowly starts fading like a dying fire going out till there’s nothing left is also reflective in our elderly age dying out and withering away. Gives such an emotional but bittersweet feel that everything has to come to an end.

to be honest, I didn't really want a Dearly Beloved 2013. I was so obsessed with 2012's version, that I thought it would tarnish the attachment I felt towards it. to the contrary, however, this just astounds me. I've never imagined this piece played like this... thank you again, sir. for lack of a better phrase, you never cease to amaze me.

To be honest I feel like they will use this song if you allow them in the third and final installment of kingdom hearts. Only a theory since it was announced in development in 2013. A beautiful piece, would be a great reminder of this amazing and thought experienced series that is Kingdom Hearts.

That's what I meant in the first place. I meant the end of the Xehanort Saga. No one mentions anything about Kyle or if his music will be used in any future games.

I played piano for about a month 6 years ago, I didn't get into to it well enough, no motivation. The simple fact that songs such as this and Clannads Dango Daikazoku are available for me to play and shown by you in all their glory has made me pick it up again. I'm not entirely sure if i enjoy Kyle's 2009 or 2013 more. I love the complexity of his 2009 version, but his 2013 is incredible. I love the key changes, and modulations leading in to 2:52. Absolutely incredible !
