Great video, Splash Mountain (after all these years) is still one of the best attractions Disney has ever done. From the incredible theming, to the story, and toe-tapping music, it’s quintessential Disney
I KNOW! Closing this amazing masterpiece was Disney’s worst decision ever!
I love Splash Mountain. I don't love waiting in the cue and so Fastpass is the only way I will ride it. Log flumes have always been some of my favorite rides and Slash adds that extra magic with amazing animatronics, great music and theming, and just the right amount of thrill. Great on a hot Florida day. Great video Josh. Loving these ride throughs.
Well Josh, had to be contender for one ofvthe best new POVs for this attraction! As for fish eye... well it's necessary to capture more like you say!
What I REALLY liked though, despite the awesome picture quality) was the fact you had a clear run.... nobody visibly ahead of you! ! ! 😉 Nice 👌 O.O.K 💙

I love Splash Mountain. On the last trip with my daughter back in 2006, we rode it five times back to back. Great job capturing this.

Josh, I felt like I was on the ride. Being someone who has trouble with roller coasters or water rides with big drops, it was nice to enjoy the sights and sounds without the terror I always feel. My husband and kids always did this ride and I knew it was a great one. Thank you Josh. It was wonderful to experience. 👍🤗

This ride still scares me, but the soundtrack is one of my absolute favorites!
I love the wide angle! Super sharp picture too. Splash Mountain is one of my favorites but not the top 5 for me. This is mostly bc my family will only ride it 1x a trip (they don't like to get wet! esp in winter when it's colder) so I don't have as many memories as I do of other rides! I actually like the lines/queues, not too crazy wait times but even an hour is ok with me bc my fam and I have a lot of memories/bonding/fun times on those lines!!!
this is a lot like the thunder mountain video where you more details in darker areas love it!

That video was awesome. I love a GoPro at Disney. If a family needs a designated camera, they’re pretty hard to beat now with the stabilization. The fisheye wasn’t bad at all either, I use “wide” when in the rides and “linear” when walking around. Thanks again for all the amazing videos, you guys are amazing!

I'm really sad that this version is going to go. I have loved Splash Mountain and hope to ride it one more time! My next trip is December 2020 to January 2021 and I'm thinking of going to Disneyland in April 2021. Do you think Splash Mountain will still be open by then?

Love this ride!!! I missed going on it in 2017. Hopefully in October when we come down for Food and Wine Festival!!! Just waiting for the rest of the Eat to the Beat concert lineup. I hope the rest of it comes out soon.

This may not have been a 360 video but I felt like I was on the ride. I think I almost could smell the water and feel it also.

I think I figured out what was going on. I think I was accidentally putting my finger over the tiny little microphone hole. I just have to stay off of it, and I think we'll be ok. :-)

Beautiful camera work. I love the theming of Splash Mountain and it's a fun ride. My favorite though is Universal's Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls and is the standard by which all water "coasters" should be judged according to how WET you get. Any chance of being able to get a video of that one day?

Hi Margaret! It's not a strange question, lol. I think I had to look it up when I first started seeing POV used. It's the abbreviation for Point Of View.

You should try doing videos of you on Space mountain, Expedition Everest, and Aerosmith roller coasters too. Perhaps two on the Walt Disney World railroad train ride and the Tomorrowland Speedway.
I think picture and sound quality are quite good.

How do you make sure your camera doesn’t get wet or lost?
I used a gopro for this one with a wrist mount so it doesn't fall off. The GoPro is waterproof.
