I'm really pleased with my new Peugeot 308 GT petrol, it's a great car. I've had it almost a month and do I regret my decision YES. The reason why is that Peugeot are supplying the new 308 with missing equipment. Mine is missing...heated windscreen, wireless charging, 3D i-Cockpit, heated steering wheel and traction control deactivation. There should be a series of function buttons to the bottom right of the steering wheel. My car just has 5 blanking plates where these should be and this missing kit is not an isolated incident, search for - Peugeot Forum..Missing Specifications. It's my first and last Peugeot. I'm in touch with Peugeot UK but haven't got anywhere yet !!!
I would pursue the matter with Peugeot directly. I heard they didn’t have 3D cockpit and they would notify the customer in advance so they can make a decision. But this list is unacceptable. In fact you should act now and seek your customers rights if they didn’t notify you in advance. In that case ask to get a new car that has all options you ordered or if they can’t do that ask for a refund and return the car.

I think this car looks great regardless of the color. That only means for me the design was amazingly well done.

Android Auto and Apple CarPlay should also work with bluetooth only in the new 308. At least according to the specs I've read. My car arrives in June so can't be 100% sure yet.

Got my 308 earlier today, as well. Wireless stuff works like a dream. Only thing I haven't figured out yet is the wireless charging. I might have to look at the manual for that one. 😄
@@xXxToharxXx Does yours have wireless charging for mobile phones? Mine was supposed to but didn't due to "supply chain issues".
@@CopycatFIN said the same to me, they bought the parts for wireless charging somewhere else - but in the end, it was already build in from the factory

If they did a higher power petrol version of this in the UK, I'd be all over it. Alas, I just cant compromise on boot space with a Hybrid having owned a A3 TFSIe.

Great review, thanks . I have a dumb question...as a rule, can plug in hybrids charge from the ice if its not convenient to plug in? Can this model do that?
Yes it car burn petrol to generate electric power to recharge the battery but you will crazy fuel consumption which defeats the purpose of PHEV as it is intended to be charged overnight every day or two.
@@JRCarReviews thanks Jocip....sorry buy do you have any idea how bad it would be? I love the car and the hybrid element but I'm not often near charging points, even in London.

42k€!!! WTF?! I know it's seems a big step up from the last 308 but it's almost double the price.
Surely day improved in many points from previous 308 but its still the same platform, architecture, same suspension, same engine even?
Have in mind this is a PHEV, entry Petrol GT is 30K €...
