Nick Silva you know for some reason I first thought that the joke was “it’s an easy fight because you didn’t fight him” due to him being killed by Joker. But then I remembered that you do actually “fight” him and that the joke was “it’s an easy fight because he was quite literally a one hit wonder”. Scarecrow isn't the main villain of Knight. it's still Joker, this because the Arkham series is about Batman and Joker. (the series isn't called 'Batman Arkham' for nothing and who is the most famous inmate of the asylum?)
Also, the game doesn't have to be played on a certain date to fight Man-Bat, he appears at any random moment of the game and even has a whole side-quest dedicated to him.
zakmaniscool actually, after said sidequest Man-Bat appears again when it's Halloween. I never tried this myself but have seen a video. Man-Bat will also be gone from his cell in the GCPD building.
To be honest, the plot would be 100% the same without the joker in AK. He was more of a glorified polt device rather than a main villain. No offense of course!
Why did they say that it was the Game of the Year edition that had EVERYTHING that the original game had? It was like they only played the GOTY edition and were stupid enough to think the GOTY was the only version with these features.
The thing is, Arkham City wasn't Sharp's idea. It was Hugo Strage who created it (he was manipulated by Ra's al Ghul, but still). In Arkham Asylum you can find another room where you scan some shelves and find Strange's request to launch the project of Arkham City. Btw, using major plot facts is really not fair. You delivered some new WOW things I never noticed (like that secret room in Asylum of Ra's al Ghul's body, or the painting), but the rest of it looks like you tried really hard to clog some empty space. Not nice. Also, check your facts. Calendar Man speaks not only on particular days. It's just on particular days he says something interesting and important. And THAT"S easter eggs. Man-Bat is not an easter egg though, it's a side mission that happens randomly after completing one of the main missions. It doesn't matter what date it is.
Nobody mentioned that, after a good portion of the game is done, you can see the Joker randomly putting himself in place of people in billboards throughout the city. If you look away and look again, then the billboard returns to normal.

A partially successful, partially unsuccessful facelift. I used to always dream of making grand sweeping remasters someday... not just an aesthetic post-bump but something altogether more like a true labour of love. You have a game whose main hook is the illusion of choices making plot differences? Okay, how about we make all three of them one game, give the character genuinely all of the actual choices they could want to make, find some way of gradually morphing those character upgrade systems from one to another to another... integrate everything, free up everything, branch out everything. Or okay, do you have something more classic, more along a levels structure, without much narrative to it? Then how about framing a narrative around what is a collection of absolutely every one of those levels, redesigned as uninterferingly as possible in such a way as that you can now take ANY character you meet through the whole game... allowing them to tell their stories as well. Or do you have a series of games where the map joins up but explores a different part of it with each game? Then how about as well as taking other characters through it, you also unblock all of the map edges we had previously, so now (if you really want to) you can go all over the map with one character (where it doesn't make the plot no longer make sense, that is)? Like, why don't people dream about those sorts of projects when it comes to after-gen revitalizations you can bank on? Wouldn't that be a joy to see a thing like that? Why do they settle for "uh, let's plonk all the DLC in with it, polish the graphics, shove in a select screen and job done"? It's so unambitious. So yeah, I'm waiting for someone to do that thing properly. Like, properly properly. Actually using a cash-in opportunity and making a further genuine by-itself work of art out of it.
To be honest, I'm actually glad they didn't go through with it. Poison Ivy and Mad Hatter do NOT work that well. I liked how Ivy and Bane were involved with the Titan scheme. Oh, that should've been a good fact; Origin's Bane's TN1 is call to the Titan serum in Asylum.

He forgot to mention that Arleen Sorkin also returned to play Harley Quinn in Arkham Asylum. then Tara Strong played the character for the rest of the games.
Shame no one ever mentions Arkham Origins Blackgate. Even this video barely did. RIP. But hey, I can't blame anyone for forgetting it, since it's basically an off brand Arkham game that's only worth anything if you haven't played one of the full titles.
You forgot to mention that while reviewing the Clock Tower camera footage you can see Victor Zsasz and that he's also mentioned by random thugs and you can also find some of his victims which happen to be one of Riddlers riddles.
speaking of Superman references, I heard one thug mention "that freak from Metropolis" potentially showing up and another thinking that Batman was "an alien refugee from a dying planet"
He is sort of obscure. Don't get me wrong, he's an amazing villain, and Hush might actually be my favourite Batman comic ever, but he's still somewhat obscure.
Wait a minute... Batman was actually voiced by the same guy who currently does the voice of Sonic in "Batman: Arkham Origins"?? That just blew my mind!
Kaleb Burt Thats because you don't need to have it set to Halloween. Idk why they put that as a fact, it's completely random and it starts a Most Wanted mission.
@Kaleb Burt there are 2 man bat jumpscares. the first one is when the man bat side mission first becomes available. the second happens on halloween after you have completed the man bat side mission and caught him. on halloween, either in real time or just by setting your conole date to halloween man bat escapes from the gcpd. but you can't catch him again.
Some people laugh at the fact that the guy had to do so much work on the cape, but let me tell you, that detail was what completely sold me on the game. I spent way to much time the first time I played "Asylum" spinning around to swoosh that beautiful cape... Sharpe had a split personality? It didn't sound like it to me... sounded more like he was delusional, but he referred to himself as "Quincy Sharpe" at the end, whereas Twoface, who DOES have a split personality, will refer to Harvey Dent as if he's a different person. ...Bruce Wayne is playable in "Lego Batman" which predates Arkham City. He's a bonus character, but he's playable. And I took great delight in smacking thugs around with his briefcase, though not as much as smacking them as Alfred. They should have made better use of the platter.... oh well, they did in later games. "City" is my favorite. I haven't played "Knight" yet because A. I don't have a PS4 at this point and B. I'm a bit concerned some of the darker themes it explores. I have a history of depression, including suicidal ideation, so I'm not entirely sure if it'd be safe for me to play. If anybody has thoughts on whether it's too dark, I'm all ears. I do WANT to play it.
Ian Mega I agree it would be cool, but how would you make a superman game "fun". I mean, he's invincible so there'd be no challenge to it. Him being weakens by kryptonite the entire time would just feel lazy and boring
@@shatteredakuma thats like saying how to make a god of war game fun, or a spider-man game fun or how middle earth shadow of mordor was fun. These games all had op main characters but were very fun so yes it can be done
Genuinely one of the greatest series of all time. I love this series with all my heart and I would die for another batman game or superhero game made by rocksteady.
My fav is Origins. It shows a less experienced Batman that has doubts and is deeply flawed but for the good of the people of Gotham he grows as a character and becomes the caped crusader we love.
Asylum has best narrative and atmosphere, city had great stuff all around making it overall the best, and knight had best gameplay excluding the batmobile, I like all three, origins was just a shitty worse version of city
We need an Arkham-style Sin City video game. -Make the entire game stark black and white with some splashings of selective coloring to mimic the comic series and as objective markers. -Have a a bunch of main missions that follow the plots of each book (That Yellow Bastard, ,A Dame to Kill For, The Big Fat Kill, The Hard Goodbye, etc) with a sprinkling of side-missions
I don't get..okay Kevin and Mark are pretty good as Batman and Joker but still Batman:Arkham Origins was an AWSOME game..i have played both asulym and origins and i can say origins was far better than asulym. So stop saying that origins isn't good bc isn't from rockstady or that isnt Kevin and Mark...
WOAH WOAH WOAH HOLD ON AM I to believe that the standard edition of the game doesnt have detective mode and all the gadgets in refernce to 7:29 fact no 29
I loved that he placed the plot of the games as a fact since I was looking for a video that resumed them all for me and this was a 2 in 1, also like the metropolis posters, there's a poster in origins that has zatanna in it, nice little detail.

Many of the facts in this list simply refer to what the narrator calls "the game" without telling us which game.
hes refering to whichever game he talked about last
No not really he just refers to the first one several times. Such as getting to play as robin, nightwing and cat woman in the first one.
Who thinks that they could make a good green arrow game?
Phoenix Lord nah
THE LEGENDARY KNIGHT

I wanted arkham facts, not all the arkham games simplified
"That's his name, don't wear it out."
That wouldn't be wearing, it'd be bringing it back.
arkham city is the best. #ArkhamCity
In my opinion, only by a tiny bit, asylum is better. City is at an EXTREMELY close 2nd
He forgot to mention that Arleen Sorkin also returned to play Harley Quinn in Arkham Asylum. then Tara Strong played the character for the rest of the games.
Sounded like matpat when he was imitating the theme song at the beginning
I take that as a compliment.
Shame no one ever mentions Arkham Origins Blackgate. Even this video barely did. RIP.
But hey, I can't blame anyone for forgetting it, since it's basically an off brand Arkham game that's only worth anything if you haven't played one of the full titles.
Leopold Litchenstein it’s still canon though
Fact 57 isn't technically true because in asylum you play as young Bruce for a few seconds
The rising disappointment
For me it was a couple of minutes
joshie HD I tried to walk back down the long hallway with young Bruce
I like all of the Batman games but the Joker in Origins character design was the best I've ever seen
on #15, but on the bts of arkham city, you can see hamill and conroy in the same room recording
You forgot to mention that while reviewing the Clock Tower camera footage you can see Victor Zsasz and that he's also mentioned by random thugs and you can also find some of his victims which happen to be one of Riddlers riddles.
My favourite is Arkham City
speaking of Superman references, I heard one thug mention "that freak from Metropolis" potentially showing up and another thinking that Batman was "an alien refugee from a dying planet"
This guy does know that most of the things he says are only in the goty edition are in both versions right?
Me Seeing The Thumbnail: THATS THE SKIN I PLAY AS ALL THE TIME!!!!!
Same Bro
how dare you call Hush obscure!!!!
He is sort of obscure. Don't get me wrong, he's an amazing villain, and Hush might actually be my favourite Batman comic ever, but he's still somewhat obscure.
Finn Chapman yeah, not helped that he was only in the comic before
Wait a minute... Batman was actually voiced by the same guy who currently does the voice of Sonic in "Batman: Arkham Origins"?? That just blew my mind!
I didn't even set my time and date to halloween and I was still scared by Manbat. Guess it must have been halloween when i played lol
Kaleb Burt Thats because you don't need to have it set to Halloween. Idk why they put that as a fact, it's completely random and it starts a Most Wanted mission.
Kaleb Burt The Easter Egg is only if you've captured Man-Bat already. On Halloween, he can show up again, and will be missing in GCPD
Bruce Wayne's parents brought their deaths on themselves by deciding to walk through a place called Crime Alley
Actually it isn't called Crime Alley, its called Park Row, which is a pretty normal name. Crime Alley is basically just a nickname for the street.
i hope you're wrong about a superman game, he's a cool character but there is a very good reason why he can't be the main protaganist of a good game
I can't believe that they're not making another batman arkham game :(((

*scans chalk outlines of his dead parents*
Batcomputer: "No Subject Detected"
Bruce: ☹
it would be good to see a superman wb montreal game with batman as a supporting cast! or a deuteragonist
@@alfa01spotivo you have a good point
Genuinely one of the greatest series of all time. I love this series with all my heart and I would die for another batman game or superhero game made by rocksteady.
Also in batman begins was the first time you played as Bruce Wayne
Says that you could go to the Wayne's death spot, "if you for some reason wanted to". Immediately shows himself at the Wayne's death spot.
Not really facts just a synopsis of the 3 games
4
In Batman Begins (2005), you play as Bruce Wayne in his burning mansion. Batman: Arkham City (2011), is the SECOND time you play as Bruce Wayne.
For origins i thought they changed the voices so they sounded younger
The Stop Motion Man 05 No they were just voicing for Arkham Knight when Origins was in production.
No, they wanted them to sound younger
My fav is Origins. It shows a less experienced Batman that has doubts and is deeply flawed but for the good of the people of Gotham he grows as a character and becomes the caped crusader we love.
R.I.P Adam West
Vegetas SideChick so sad
for the last fact if you glide around some thugs will say: ''You know the only thing thats's missing if that freak from Metropolis flew in here''
You can hear henchmen talking about super man
In which game?
@@tuber138 Arkham Knight
Maybe a sequel is gonna happen with superman and the justice league in it!
the chosen one the justice league also exists in Arkham knight u can even see references to flash lex Wonder Woman and a lot more
Bro Telling a walkthrough of the game is not a fact
arkham city is my favourite but asylum is close
Asylum has best narrative and atmosphere, city had great stuff all around making it overall the best, and knight had best gameplay excluding the batmobile, I like all three, origins was just a shitty worse version of city
CJRkiller agreed
my favorite is either City or Origins. I can't decide
"a little known first person shooter *shows third person shooter gameplay*"
It’s 2019 Brandon.
1:29 That is the most useless fact I've ever heard
We need an Arkham-style Sin City video game.
-Make the entire game stark black and white with some splashings of selective coloring to mimic the comic series and as objective markers.
-Have a a bunch of main missions that follow the plots of each book (That Yellow Bastard, ,A Dame to Kill For, The Big Fat Kill, The Hard Goodbye, etc) with a sprinkling of side-missions
That's not Riot Response.
Tara Strong was also the voice of Batgirl in the new adventures of batman
I don't get..okay Kevin and Mark are pretty good as Batman and Joker but still Batman:Arkham Origins was an AWSOME game..i have played both asulym and origins and i can say origins was far better than asulym. So stop saying that origins isn't good bc isn't from rockstady or that isnt Kevin and Mark...
It is good but it's comes no where near touching arkham asylum.
To touching arkham asylum
“Batman abides by his no killing rule.”
Batman: *Punches people until they go into vegetive state*
WOAH WOAH WOAH HOLD ON AM I to believe that the standard edition of the game doesnt have detective mode and all the gadgets in refernce to 7:29 fact no 29
lol at 3:45 I thought you were trying to throw in a roast by calling the development team a bunch of lunatics
These are not facts at all, like.. half of them or more
I loved that he placed the plot of the games as a fact since I was looking for a video that resumed them all for me and this was a 2 in 1, also like the metropolis posters, there's a poster in origins that has zatanna in it, nice little detail.
