A wife is not able to give tallaq??? Words don't hurt me, lies is what makes the problem. I need to hear it again the wife is not allowed to give talaq????? Because I did as a wife, not out of anger.
I know you wrote this a year ago but I felt I had to respond maybe it’ll clarify things. I think what the sheikh meant is that when men get angry if they say “enti taaliq” to their wife then it’s as if the divorce occurred but the women can’t say “enta taaliq” to their husbands. However, women are able to initiate divorce as it is their right, they don’t have to be in a marriage they don’t want to be in. Wa Allahu A’laam.
Talaq is initiated by the husband. Words said in anger by wife, can't imply talaq. However if wife wants to end the relationship (talaq), she can initiate khulaa. Khulaa is the right of the wife but then she has to return her mahr, and she's free from that marriage. Being a lady doesn't mean to be stuck there or be a prisoner.

Seek help from whom you trust, this has to stop never take those abusive words from him. Ask Allah for help and also ask someone you trust and love.
